If you have moved into a new house and are worried about other people with house keys often you do not have to replace the lock we can rekey the lock so those old keys will not work. Saving time and money, with peace of mind.

If your lock is exposed to the weather and starting not to work smoothly some times the lock needs to be cleaned and serviced. We are able to dismantle your lock, clean, service and reassemble your lock for you.

The job also took longer than originally indicated, partly, I believe, because he had to go and get another battery for his drill (because it was flat). This meant that he was still working while I was hosting friends for lunch. He did a good job when he was there but I don't think I would rate him over and above any other locksmith especially as I find tardiness and lack of communication about being late inconsiderate. "

I apologise for Dave running late, he should have contacted you.
I will bring the importance of communication up in our next staff meeting, to remind all of our locksmiths the importance of keeping customers up to date and informed.
As for the job taken longer, I believe he did do extra work at your request above what was stated in the orginal job. The extra work required was replacing a broken front door lock, and a separate invoice made out to another party.
The battery drill did go flat, however all Dave did was replace the flat battery with another power pack which was in his van.

Cara says: "I called Dave to unlock an antique cabinet where the key had been lost. He arrived the same day, and not only did he open the cabinet, he had a beatiful looking key cut to fit the locks, returning the next day!. The key is a darling and he did that on his own initiative, just said that he thought that style of key would match the cabinet best - star!!!
While chatting, he mentioned the front door lock looked like it was sticking. He was right - and as I had just moved he suggested changing the lock, adding a deadbolt option and securing the door to the internal garage while he was at it. He also said he'd match the silver finish of all the other door handles in the house (such attention to detail!), and all the locks now open with the same one key.
Dave was pleasant, proactive and purposeful - a real pleasure. At no time did I feel pressured to follow his advice, but I am very glad I did - he's worth every (very reasonable) penny. Although he is clearly in demand, he never seemed rushed and even vaccuumed before he left. He's an angel and I cannot recommend him more highly - use him, and listen to his gentle advice!"
