Sylvia And Martin says: "I had a great experience with the team at Littlerock!. They were contracted to complete decking, paving and a retaining wall at the back of my property. The quote was extremely resonable compared to the two others I recieved and the job was not an easy one as my property goes up a bank (I live in Island bay). The work invloved clearing the property first and due to the access way this was no small job. I really respected the way they took the time to explain what the were doing and how they intended to progress giving me options along the way. The only delays we had were due to the atrocious Wellington weather which I guess is just the nature of the business. I found both John and Trevor to be exceptionally approchable and always open to listen and explain any concerns I may have had. I have had several complements on my new back yard already! -- Thanks Guys will be sure to recommend!"

Simon says: "Dealing with these guys was a nightmare. They put on a good front during the sales pitch but from that point on it went downhill fast. They confirmed they could do the work beginning October so we waited and heard nothing. Tried to contact them when the work didnt start but got no response for over a week. They make a policy of never answering their phone, no doubt due to the customer complaints that must flood in. Then the promises started about as start date that dragged on for 2 months "well be there next week", "well be there tomorrow". They never showed up meaning we had no deck for our family Xmas party, which they knew about. These guys are the definition of incompetent, they think nothing of stringing you along for months with no intention of doing the work and ruining your plans. They obviously pick and choose the work where they are ripping off the client, and leave the others hanging for months in-case they run out of work. In the end having to take them to small claims to recover our costs. Avoid these guys at all costs, they are true cowboys."

Trevor replies: "Well reading that review, I wouldn't hire us either, however there is always two sides to every story, and in this instance very much so. Sometimes no matter how hard you work you can never please some people, and Simon is one of those people. After meeting with him on more then one occasion and providing a free quote for the work he required, I was inundated with phone calls at all hours of the night and day, and although I take pride in providing the best customer service, I don't tend to answer my work phone at 9.30pm, which I gather he finds unacceptable. I did however explain to Simon that weather permitting we would be looking to start work on his project in October, however Wellington weather being what it is we were held up, and this was explained to him. I spoke to his wife on many occasions keeping her informed of what was going on. However I did miss a meeting as I was held up in traffic and wouldn't be able to attend. As I had other family commitments. Before I could contact Simon and reschedule I started recieving offense emails, and decided that my inital impression that he was a little on the 'intense' side and a bit of a bully was correct. Howver we still attempted to contact him and get his work done in a suitable time frame, but he was again rude and offensive. I look forward to setting the record straight."

Andy says: "These guys were great. We feel we got value for money and a very high quality of work. They did some exposed aggregate paths, a driveway, two decks and a fence for us. We were very happy with it all. Their quotation was very professional - a lot better than many others we got. Would definately recommend to others."
