    "Craig and the team spent around 6 months recladding and extending the home we purchased in mid 2012. Have to say that a reclad is not an experience we'd want to undertake too often as the process is rather long and it can be rather depressing to watch what starts as a beautiful home get pulled apart for months before it is reassembled. Don't even get us started on dealing with Council.
    However Craig and the team did a great job. They were always accessible and managed to put up with having… this annoying client on deck every day to see what was happening. The end result is fantastic and we're really enjoying living in the house. Lessons we learned:

    - Using the contractors tradesmen is easier even if you do have existing relationships.

    - No matter how much testing is done what you'll find once the cladding is off will be a shock

    - Budget at least 5 times what you thought for timber replacement.

    - Don't assume you'll be able to match existing materials. We ended up redoing the whole concrete tile roof as the tiles were no longer available.

    - Don't assume that a house that is quite new was built properly in the first place. We found a number of places that were badly done originally and needed fixing. We even had to replace the only pile in the house!

    - Allow a lot more than you thought for the Council as they seem to love redoing inspections and changing their minds about what is required.

    - Spend the time and effort upfront to get the plans right as it makes life a lot easier than changing things later.

    - Reconnecting services such as gas, power and phone isn't a 'next day' job.

    Overall we would recommend using Craig and the Reliant team. They did what they said they would and stood behind their work. We didn't go with the cheapest quote as we just didn't trust them. Reliant were professional and responsive from day one right up to the last fiddly finishing bits that are always there on a big job.    "

    "Craig was always available to be contacted throughout the job by cell phone or after hours at home. He responded promptly to any questions and had many contacts for sub cotracting. The builder Steve Gould had a team of men whose standard of work was 100%. All tradesmen on my job were professional ,polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to liase with."
