The story : Arranged with Shahil to have a 10ft dinghy shipped from Auckland to Rotorua (our previous dinghy had just been stolen and Auckland was the only place I could get a replacement before Xmas). Paid $300 via internet banking. On the arranged pickup day (18th Dec) the boat shop in Auckland rang about 3pm to say the driver hadn't turned up yet (agreed pickup time was 1pm). Rang Shahil and he said the driver had… been "deplayed" and would be there within the next 2 hrs ... boat shop rang back again at 6pm to say they still hadn't arrived! Tried ringing Shail again and again - no response!. Boat shop rang again Mon night to say the driver had still not turned up.
I needed the dinghy so rang Shahil (got through to him this time) and cancelled the booking ... he said no problem about getting a full refund (just email the details through)
Then had to take a day off work, hire a trailer in Rotorua, drive up to Auckland, collect dinghy then drive back to Rotorua!!
Its is now 27th Jan 2010 and despite sending emails and leaving voice messages on Shahiil's mobile (021-0592022) I have got absolutely nowhere.
The 0800-265677 number and the office number (04-4779058) are now disconnected!

Storyline:

Building… their Fortune500, the pair sets out in Wellington NZ to scam New Zealanders out of their pockets. Setting and nesting behind the virtual world, the cyber walls and the audio wires, they started attacking strategically from the safety of their nets. Thousands of dollars started bucketing down on them for their successful con & swindles. It was a merry go round with christmas carols for the duos, until their luck started running out.
Their businesses started failing (very badly), phenomenon karmas surrounds them until they realised their pot of golds werent so much desired for after all the fiddles.
With hundreds of people being ripped apart, the NZ clans finally had enough and the virus and poison grew on Shahil Chand and its co-liers. Sadly there was no antidote for this aweful horrible man, he finally went off to the woods and no one heard of him again and no one else was hurt. But then 1year later, he appeared again from what seemed like a dark revivification, he claims to be a son of jesus............................tune in for part2.
BEWARE OF TRANSPRO FOLKS. GET A LIFE SHAHIL CHAND.

I have also been conned.
I used Transpro to transfer a car from New Plymouth to Picton,
after paying $426 into their account i did not receive any communication regarding the pick - up or delivery of my car despite numerous attempts at trying to contact Shahil for 3 days. I cancelled the order via e-mail and was told i would have to pay a 25% cancellation fee even though they did not deliver any service..
And to make matters worse i've… still not received my refund after 2 weeks of waiting.. I've done some reaearch on the company and found so many complaints from various customers including the people below.. I just can't understand how people can get away with this kind of blatant fraud..I'm taking them to court via a dispute tribunal..
Please do not deal with this company.. they are ******* thieves.
Like the other comments, I didnt hear from them once payment had been made.
Eventually my vehicle was picked up from CHCH and delivered to Auckland. On the "eventual" day of arrival, after many calls and being 4 hours late I eventually got hold of Shahil, to be told that there had been a "small' problem and my… vehicle and that it had recieved "minor" damage during the offload process.
Turns out my Rav had been "written off".... the damage was sooooo extreme it wasnt worth fixing. Seems the ramp of the truck came down on my vehicle and the roof is dented beyond belief. The pillars of the vehicle are bent, the front and rear winscreens are broken, there are numerous scratches down the body of the vehicle .............the list goes on. A tidy vehicle in good mechanical order has been turned into a wreck overnight!!!!!!
Since this happened ( almost a month ago) there has been nothing but contradictions, broken promises, unreturned phone calls and further delays by Shahil and his staff. It has been an absolute nightmare. I still havnt seen any formal documentation to tell me how the vehcile was damaged!!
An "accident" is one thing, but his (and his wifes) absolute disregard and unprofessionalism towards this situation is totally unacceptable.
I am persuing outstanding costs through the courts and other avenues.
I regret ever engaging Transpro's services. The feedback speaks for itself.
