    "We engaged the services of Xtra Care at the beginning of 2008. We selected them because they were AMAZINGLY cheap, and Heath seemed like a nice young man. He was a bit grubby when he turned up to do the quote but he seemed knowledgeable. We had them to carry out all our lawn and garden care as well as carpark sweeping and to start with all went ok. They were regular and did an ok job. But then we had different people turning up to do the work, pieces were not done properly or missed completely… - one day i phoned to say the edges had been left half-done, and was told they ran out of nylon and had no money to buy more??? On two occasions I phoned to say they hadn't been at all and it was now 3 weeks, only to be told "yes, they have definitely been". Well, our property certainly knew thay had not been!!! To be fair Heath always returned my calls but I don't think he had the necessary skills to manage staff or organise and ensure quality work was being done. I can say that if some of the gorillas who would turn up to our property and "fall out" of the trucks with smokes hanging out their mouths had shown their faces when the job was being quoted, Xtra Care wouldn't have got anywhere near getting the job.. I consider myself a very tolerant person, we persevered for nearly a year, but in the end we made a change to another contractor who was about 35% dearer, and we only wish we had gone with them in the first place. Sadly, the old saying "pay peanuts, get..." has been so true in this case."
