    "I have moved more then 35 times in the past and can honestly say this was the worst most expensive job so far. I had prior moved all the small boxes so was only big stuff left one guys stayed in truck stalling the whole time pretending to stack while the other carried out the stuff then they had the nerve to overcharge me for a job that should have only taken 2 hrs max. I followed the truck from old address they were smoking and stopping mid way for breaks. Absolutely shocked at the service… provided and am definitely going to be taking this further. Shame on you guys solo Mum of 3 kids you guys took advantage!"

    "Very dissatisfied! I hire a truck with 2 man and one came smelling alcohol and 5 minutes after he arrive he did a smoke while I was helping the othe guy. He rush into the motorway, probably he got speed tickets. They BROKE 2 TVs, even that I asked them to very very careful with the tv, as I still paying it. They left the tv hiding away with furniture and when I saw it I rand them I they said that how did they know it wasn�t broken before!!!! I couldn�t believe what I was hearing. I… sent them pictures of both tv broken, and they promise to lend me another tv till the owner of the company come back from overseas. Nearly a week had gone and I still have no tv. I have no more option that apply for Dispute Tribunal as I�m not staying with no tv for any longer and I believe they are very disrespectful with me."

    "Great price, and great service. Some minor damage was done to the property gate by the removal truck (very tight driveway), but Graeme and the team arranged to have it repaired like new the following day. Fast and friendly team."

    "I'd never hired movers before, but having been in my upstairs apartment with tricky access for some time I'd collected too much to cope with myself. Graham gave a very competitive quote, and David and Cameron were the movers on the day, turning up on time and raring to go, despite me still packing frantically as they began moving things out! Nothing phased them, and they reassured me instantly with their can-do attitude, (especially when a spanner was thrown in the works and we had to make an… unscheduled stop on the way, to pick up my washing machine.) Everything arrived at the new house in good shape and positioned in the right places. Very glad I chose you - AAAAA Cut Price Furniture Removal all the way. Thanks guys!"

He called back within his stated time frame and gave me a verbal quote for the work. On the day the men arrived on time, they were also polite, courteous and treated our property with respect.     "I booked 5A to move a 2 storey four bed house lot of furniture into a storage unit. 2 men and truck at $88.55 per hour was agreed (incl GST). Due to poor communication in the company they arrived in a small truck expecting a 1 bed flat sized load. To speed up the job they went away to fetch a third man and the rate went up to a "discounted" $120.00 per hour and started an hour late. The move went slowly with unloading at the difficult access storage unit taking 2.5 hours each trip.… Due to the small truck size 3 trips were necessary though we were advised it would only be 2. At the end of the job an invoice for 10.5 hours (with no GST number) was presented with cash payment the only acceptable method. Due to the unexpectedly long time taken I did not have enough cash nor access to more that day so I paid 65% with agreement to pay rest the next day. Having checked rates and times to shift a 4 bedroom lot with other companies next day I informed 5A I was disputing the bill. We agreed to meet the next day to discuss it. No meeting happened the next day, instead 5A went back to the storage unit and seized our fridge and 2 drawer units using the key they had retained. We were only informed of this by the storage unit staff the day after when they noticed the unit was left unlocked. 5A then demanded payment in full or a $300.00 handling and storage charge would be added to cover taking our own goods from our unit. I filled a claim with disputes tribunal instead.

    A few weeks later we used Tiger transport to move the same furniture from the same storage unit (with difficult access) to our new 2 storey house. This time 2 men took 6.5 hours in 2 trips at $126.00 per hour (incl GST) to move the same furniture twice the geographic distance with the same access difficulties at each end. 5A had 3 men taking 10 hours in 3 trips to move half the distance. As 5A still had our fridge I had to buy a new one for the new house. The reasons for the speed difference came down to planning and team work. Tiger visited the site and worked out the best truck size for the job, also the 2 men worked well together as a team.

    My lesson was that the cheapest rate does not give the cheapest final bill. So if you want the cheapest bill make sure you get a quote for the whole job.

    My next lesson, from the disputes tribunal, was that 5A was legally entitled to seize our furniture but the $400.00 extra charges were not applicable in this case. Although 5A were legally entitled you have ask yourself, do you want to deal with a company whose first response to a dispute is to exercise that right or one where there is discussion to resolve problems?    "

    "Used company 3 prior times, used to be excellent service and value.
    This time where late, broke selves in fridge, stuff not moved as promised. Over charged.
    Emailed and left message regrauding issues no reply.
    All business over years and referrals to people moving gets such bad service shocking    "

    "Firstly I would like to apologise to Helen for been late. We have been operating in Auckland for about 13 years and can honestly say, we are on time for our jobs 90% of the time. To us it is very important to get to the scheduled time, on time. Now and then, even after doing a lot of prior questioning, sometimes things happen that are totally out of our control. For example someone’s settlement unexpectedly held up .Or they cannot get a key to enter their new property. Or something similar. When this happens we try to solve this as fast as possible and contact our next customer as soon as possible to apologise and to keep them up dated. Secondly I am personally sorry I did not receive your emails so I did not know of your complaint as I would of put it right for you. I think the fridge rack would repair rather easily, click back in to the rack, which I would be happy to do for you, if you have not already done. Please contact me [email protected] regarding been overcharged. I would be happy to check with you. As you know, you have used 3 times prior and our rates are very good, if there was a error made i would be happy to refund you no problem Many thanks "

    "From start to finish these guys were great.I would strongly recomend .
    I had a very bad access drive way and every thing needed to be carried a long way.some real heavy and expencive furniture , but the frendly guys moved it all nice and fast with no damage and at a great price.
    I was expecting a lot of stress but they made it almost enjoyable.
    my next move I will defintly be useing them again.    "

    "Would never use this company again, if my husband hadn\'t been home to help they wouldn\'t have even got half way through the job which is all they actually managed to do which left us at a very stressful time with a sold house still half full of our furniture and the new owners truck waiting in the road to unload. Quite sure big John must have had a hangover that day!"

    "We arrived at the job. which we were told was a small job. but they had a lot more furniture than they realized. Your Husband was not asked or was required to help, but he volunteered to help to speed up your move which the guys allowed. we believe this choice should be up to the customer, as often customers want help to keep the cost down by speeding up the job. Secondly big John does not drink. I am sorry to you for any stress we may of caused as I know this is a stressful time for a lot of people . We try very hard to make it as easy as possible. "

    "These guys have moved me twice already and I\'m going for a third early December! They are absolutely FANTASTIC. Timely, careful with my belongings, and very reasonably priced. The last time they moved me was a very stressful time for me so imagine my joy when I finished work that day and arrived at my new house with everything moved for me. They even set my bed up for me again so I could hop in and go to sleep! Absolutely lovely guys. Don\'t even consider using any other company :-) Make sure… you got a cool beer for them :-)"

    "these guys were great it was a hell of a move the house we moved from had a very narrow driveway and bad access to the house - many stairs. The house we moved to although on the flat has mainly only exterior stairs to take up large furniture. The guys worked very hard and there was not a lot of damage done to our property - would definately use again highly recommended Excellent service from the time the owner answers the telephone to the guys arriving and the best value in town "

    "Have used them now three times. Amazing prices, very reliable and completely honest. This company has moved me to and back from Waiheke and both times took care of booking the ferry. The second time moving from Waiheke to Auckland, we missed our returning boat (the fault of the ferry operators) and the company didn't charge me for the two hours we had to wait for the next boat. They also moved offices for me. I will be using them for a fourth time in a the next few weeks."
