After learning about the damage solvent based/moisture cure polyurethanes can cause, we only supply and use non toxic waterborne polyurethanes and natural oils. Our aim is to supply our customers with top quality workmanship in the healthiest possible way as we have a young family and we're very concerned about the health of the environment, and the people in it. The products we use are extremely durable and are the result of years of research and development by UFloor Systems in Germany and Handley Industries in New Zealand, world leaders in all aspects of waterborne polyurethanes and oils.
We sand ALL our jobs using the latest Danish vacuum system that attaches to the 2 sanding machines that was currently responsible for over 98% of the surface and floating dust.
We offer all our customers a 98% DUST-FREE job, with no need for after job cleaners, dust sheets and the normal head aches faced by customers after having their floors sanded.
With our water borne polyurethanes, natural oils and vacuum system ,we offer our customers a virtually smell free and dust free service. And hence hassle free!!! The sensible safe approach to floorsanding.

Mike says: "I had Heath quote for a sand only job for my bungalow. Heath rang me prior to arranged time to confirm he was on the way, The quote was fair so I arranged for the job the next week. Heath rang to confirm the team were coming and they arrived as arranged on the day at 9.00. They did a fantastic job and were friendly and helpful. They worked hard the whole time and as the quote said they were 95% dust free. I did not need to cover any thing and there was only a slight bit of dust in the house post the job. I would say 98% dust free. I painted the floor and it looks fantastic. I had previously sanded an area myself and now would never try again. I will call Active."

In fact it was better than we thought it would be. We just keep looking at our floors and marvelling over how good they look. Duncan says: "We have just had our 1970 rimu floors in the lounge, kitchen and laundry sanded and polished by Heath using the new water-borne polyurethane and we are so impressed. The finish is so much better that our neighbours oil based job done by someone else. The wood looks a natural colour and not like it’s covered in plastic. Heath did a great job, communication was spot on, he was here when he said he would be, and we found him to be trustworthy and respectful (really important when you let someone in your home). I found Heath by chance and before hiring him for the job, I asked a contact I had at a large city centre hotel about the work he did on their main restaurant floor and they were also very happy with the work.
