They were right, it was a tiny part that failed, not the obvious (and 20 times more expensive) suspect. .
They have always looked to find the best result for the least amount of money and I literally trust them with my life, every time I get behind the wheel.

Mike says: "Very impressed. My car needed the parking brake assembly rebuilt and they managed to book me in within a couple of days and sent me a reminder text the night before. I was offerred a courtesy car, but was able to make my own transport arrangements. Only 2 hours after dropping off the car, I received another text to say my car was ready for pickup. Througout, they explained everything well and overall it was a positive experience.

Ash turns up has a quick look under the bonnet and the car is immediately booked in for surgery.
A few hours later a txt message tells me all is ok and my chariot is ready for pickup.
The bill is paid (very reasonable) keys passed over and im in the car ready to go.

I provided Anzac Automotive with the details of the local company and their price at the time I asked for a quote using these parts. Parts were readily available. Anzac Automotive chose to obtain parts from a different supplier at twice the price. That said, the job was done well, and timely. First time I went to change my brakes, but after they started working on the car, they told me that the brakes are in very good condition, and don't need to be changed. They could have changed them anyway and let me pay for it. But they didn't. The job always finishes before the estimated time, and they text you to tell you that your car is ready. I originally took the car to another mechanic who loosley quoted me $500 more than Ash quoted & after the job was completed it was actually less than he quoted.
Ash also went above & beyond with giving me a loan car while he had my car & he actually brought my car back to me & picked up his loan car.
