  Leola says: "Well where does one start when you get a great job done by a good company. Kevin and Peter from Bathroom Direct cannot be faulted. They listened to everything we wanted and worked within our tight budget and even allowed us to use our own electrician and tiler. The job was done on time and we can't fault it. We choose them not only because of their reputation but also because we liked the look of their product. Their show room is well layed out and helped us decided what we wanted. Nothing was a problem and I just can't believe how easy they made it. Highly recommend Kevin and Peter and Bathroom direct. Thanks heaps for our lovely bathroom."

He came up with a great use of the space and fit in everything that we wanted. We also had tight time lines as I was going overseas and the job had to be completed by a specific date. Everything went well with the tradesman and they were well managed by Peter. The finished result was terrific and was exactly what we wanted. We would certainly use Bathroom Direct again and would and have recommended them to friends and colleagues."

Both David and Peter very approachable and open communicators, it was great to work with guys who not only contributed ideas but also actually listened to and understood what we wanted. Workmanship to a very high standard with a clear pride in their work from all concerned. Callan's workspaces were always left immaculate after hours and rubbish/debris was taken away as promised - having plastic walkways laid over carpet for the project's duration was an unexpected and appreciated added touch. Highly recommended."

  Natalie says: "Kevin Cox was very helpful in quoting us on our bathroom renovation and maded regular contact with us to ensure that Bathroom Direct got the business. The customer service changed considerably once we'd signed the quote and paid our deposit and the project manager did not offer what I would consider to be good customer service. We were lead to believe that the service was from "Concept to Completion" but then found out (almost by accident) that our final inspection had not been completed. When we asked about this we were told we had to sort it out, although in the end Kevin made the appointment with the inspector on our behalf. We had a number of issues with the bathroom both during and subsequent to installation including the fact that chipped tiles were laid and had to be pulled out causing a crack in the wall which was then filled inexpertly with silicon, the lighting was installed in the wrong place, the vanity installed was scratched, the plating on the basin tap started to come off within a couple of months of installation, a copper washer was used on a chrome light fitting and we were not advised that the glass in the windows would need to be replaced or that we would need a pressure regulator installed - as a result the shower tap drips constantly. This is still not fixed. Finally, the clasp holidng the toilet seat to the toilet has broken leaving me wondering about the quality of the components used by Bathroom Direct. I have read a number of other comments about Bathroom Direct online and in most cases the response to the negative comments has been that we have fixed the problem so why is the customer complaining. We chose to have Bathroom Direct install our bathroom to save us having to manage the project and do a number of things ourselves and accepted that we would have to pay for this. In the end, I don't believe we got value for our money and the time I have spent chasing up issues during and after the installation of our bathroom could have been better spent managing the project ourself with some considerable saving. I would not recommend Bathroom Direct to any of my friends or colleagues. "

The bathroom is in a tenanted property and was small and basic so there was not a lot of opportunity to make a real statement. The product range was excellent for our purposes and we're very pleased with the result. I'd recommend David to my best friend!"

  Ursela says: "I have just phoned and found these people totally unhelpful. I wanted a quote for a new vanity, glass for a shower and taps. Firstly I was told to go to the web site and pick a vanity HELLO this is why I want a quote because I want someone to have a look and let me know the size. Secondly when I gave my address I was told well no you are not in St Heliers you are in Glendowie HELLO I live at the St Heliers end and I am in St Heliers. The Rep lives inj St Heliers so what is the problem???? Looks like these people don't need any work and it is all just too much tropuble for them."

I was just trying to get all the relevant details from her and was hung up on when I said Glendowie not St Heliers. The road she lives on goes right through both suburbs. We were quite prepared to send a consultant to help her after hours or on a weekend day, as she works, but did not get this opportunity. We direct a lot of our customers to our website as it is great first step to see our range of product and the services we offer before we visit them.. I wish her all the best of luck with her project."

The management that I met focus on getting it right. All the tradesmen involved with the project, whether contractors or employees are of a first class standard. Personal competency is expected of course but all these men are friendly, helpful people too. Our new bathroom generates a fair amount of envy and desire in all that have seen it. We have no hesitation in telling them how to get the same for themselves. Just get in touch with Bathroom Direct and get the ball rolling. "

  Paddy says: "We found the initial meetings with Kevin very helpful for the design of our bathroom. The work was started on time but due to many issues with the products and the workmanship took almost 6 weeks to complete as opposed to the 3 weeks promised. As time went on there was little or no rapport with the project manager and leaving aside the product and finish issues this would be the main reason we would not recommend this company. He was very defensive and only wanted to get the work completed and not necessarily completed to the customers satisfaction."

Brent Coutts replies: "I have discussed this feedback with our sales team and project manager, and would like to respond as follows. Paddy's main complaint was with a decision by our plumber to place a cistern tap on the L/H side of the toilet to suit the water inlet side of the toilet cistern. After the job was completed, ( within the 3 weeks quoted ) it became obvious that the tap was unsightly and should be moved. We agreed with Paddy, and at no cost to him, proceeded to have the tap repositioned. This work involved a carpenter, the plumber, the carpenter again, then a plasterer and then finally the painter. This extra work took time and needed co-ordinating, not the 3 weeks that Paddy suggests, but it did take longer than we would have liked. We try our best to get things done right the first time. In the words of L.V. Martin, it's the putting right that counts, and I believe we did just that."

  James says: "We rang Bathroom Direct to enquire about renovating our bathroom in early December. Their designer Kevin was quick to come out to visit and measure up, and his quote and design was shown to us in their showroom which made the project all very clear. A little while later we booked the job for january, the tradespeople were all very professional and tidy, and the job was done well. It was great having everything done for us, as I have organised our previous renovations ourselves and know how much of a hassle they are. The job did have a few hiccups but was all easily fixed by the project manager and was stress free for us. Thanks Kevin and team for a great job, were really happy! J"

  Yolanda says: "This salesman did a real number on us. We had quotes from other manufacturers and he assured us that he would match them as long as we did all our business through him. So we did but unfortunately never got anything from him in writing. (You always learn the hard way). When the bill arrived the figures were not only higher than what we had been quoted elsewhere..... they were ridiculously higher. We got in touch with his superior who then outright called us liars (which seems ridiculous to me as why would we buy from them when we already had cheaper quotes). They were rude, unprofessional and we will never deal with them again!"

Brent Coutts replies: "This Lady is being completely unreasonable. The facts are that we sold her some equipment, which an independant builder installed for her. She then found 1 item, a tap, on sale at a merchants clearance sale, and demanded we give her a credit for the difference. We declined but did offer to credit her in full if she purchased the 'on sale' item and returned it to our office as a replacement for the unit we had supplied. This was all too much for her and she posted this negative comment. Dissapointing!"

The project manager kept things moving even when certain challenges occurred along the way. Together with the sales team they always gave us options for resolving these difficulties The house was left as clean and tidy as is realistic every day. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and we could not be happier with the final product. Not a cheap option but they delivered on every promise and for us well worth it and highly recommended."
