"WARNING~Look for another company...We have been beyond patient with Steve. Job was done and appeared satisfactory..we excused the myriad of problems that occurred whilst work being done.
Leaks in lounge when water blasting roof, blocked drain due to excess decromastic surfacing bits entering drain from roof and a couple of leaks immediately following roof completion but Steve returned each time and fixed properly. BUT NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER LEAK that is damaging our lounge ceiling as the chimney… baffle area is not properly sealed.

A number of calls, text messages and even an email sent to try and get response to fix..but nothing.

so 10 year warranty means NOTHING :-( We have to pay another contractor to repair shoddy workmanship."

"After an initial delay getting our roof repainted (apparently due to rain, but complete lack of communication) We paid in full and then realised that part of the roof had not been painted. 6 months after this payment we are still waiting for the touch-ups to be done. So far the excuses are
"I need to order the paint"
"I'm away"
"It’s been raining"
"Oh I thought my boys had done it"
......We actually don't know how to get our roof finished as he… just constantly lies about when he is coming but I could never recommend using this company!"

"Steve and his staff did a great job prepping and painting our concrete tiles. They removed all the flaky paint and recoated them back to new. We would recommend Camelot to anyone who wants a neat and tidy job."

"Steve did our re paint on our colour steel roof.
We were away on holiday and he handled dealing with tenants and the renting agent just fine.
Job was well done and he cleared up any queries I had about it, which were my own lack of knowledge and proved how through they were.
I was pretty hands off with this company and didn\'t regret it.
Will use him again. "

"I\'ll just stick to the facts. 8 Dec: Steve visited us to inspect roof. 10 Jan: supplied quote for re-roof. Further discussions re raising roof. 8 FEB: PAID DEPOSIT OF $5,100 as requested. 18 Feb: agreed start date. Didn\'t arrive. Got text on the day saying delay caused by supplier of flashings but roof should be here later that week. It wasn\'t. Then it was going to be the end of the following week. Then it was going to be 4 March. Didn\'t arrive. Just got a text on the door, still blaming… flashings supplier. Feeling the stress and strain with the no-shows and delays. It rains and we have rain dripping down our lounge wall.

Steve says flashings have arrived and they will DEFINITELY be there on 25 March. I wait in as usual. He doesn\'t turn up. 9.30 he rings to say his supplier has \"let him down again\" and this is \"starting to make him look bad\". He says he can get flashings from another supplier and probably have them delivered the next day. Why didn\'t he do that weeks ago Because he was \"being loyal\" to his supplier, he said. (It would have been nice if he\'d shown us some loyalty - we\'d been waiting 5 weeks for a new roof and our money had been sitting in his account for 7 weeks).

He offered us our money back and we took that offer. The stress involved wasn\'t worth it and we\'d lost all faith in him by that stage. We asked for the money back that same day but of course the next morning it had not arrived in our account. A lawyer\'s letter solved that problem. Steve is welcome to contradict any of the above but I have all his texts to prove it."

"Steve and Kevin have done an amazing job on my concrete tile roof - it hadn\'t been recoated since the day it was installed in the late 1970s - it now looks like new, thanks to Camelot Roofing.
I highly recommend this firm for their dedication to the job and patient manner when dealing with people such as me, a person who is not practical and needs to have everything explained.
Roofing is an unenviable job, yet Kevin was cheerful about it and Steve did a full inspection before and after.… They\'re a great team and honest.

I am happily recommending them.

"Camelot have just finished repairing and painting my roof . I had my roof coated by another company a year ago and it already had faded and the chip started peeling off. I phoned Camelot Roofing and spoke to Vanessa who was extremely helpful. She arranged for their roof coatings specialist to come out and have a look at the roof. They removed all the existing paint and then re applied the new chip coating and gave me a warranty their workmanship. The roof looks really great now and I know… it\'s going to last this time."

"Steve following the roof replacement a leak developed on a skylight flashing. We made several attempts to contact you before getting you on your mobile when you said you were in Australia. You said you would come and fix a leak the next Monday 2 May 2001 when you returned to NZ. Despite repeated attempts since to contact you on both your home and mobile phones and leaving messages we have not heard from you since. This is most disappointing follow up service and evidently your guarantee… doesn't mean a thing. Rating applies to follow up service."

"Hi Craig you must have heard me wrong as I was not due back in NZ until the 13th of May. As this house is your rental we sorted the leak out as soon as we got back in NZ. We had found that the leak was comimg from a drill hole that one of your builders must of done while installing the skylight during the renovations. "

"Hi fellow No Cowboys Members. I found Camelot roofing on NCB. Steve made an extra effort to come out at a convenient time to us to provide us with the roofing quote. I accpeted his quote and the job was completed on time. They also did alot of extra work at no cost to enhance the look of my house and to clear one of my blocked drains."

"The communication was abysmal, it took weeks and many phone calls before the job was completed. They did not turn up when they said they would right from the start.
The man who washed the roof arrived a day early, when there was laundry hanging up and furniture outside, luckily we had a friend staying (normally there would not have been anyone at home that day) and she managed to get this in before it was covered in old paint a moss from the roof. She was also able to stop him when the high… pressure of the water blaster he was using to clean the roof caused the roof to leak resulting in water dripping on the furnishings inside and stains on the ceiling in the lounge. (He said he would turn the pressure down to a ¼ of what it was to finish washing the roof).

It took another week to get a paint chart out of him so we could decide on a colour.

Steve eventually came back to repair and paint the roof. After many more phone calls they finally finished the job 4 weeks after the initial visit and quote.

Paper was left around the chimney where it had been masked off (someone eventually came round to remove that), masking tape on the barge-boards, and paint poured down a crack in the garden. The bill was discounted for 'mucking us around' and Steve himself volunteered that 'we must think he was a bit of a joke' at one stage when he failed to show on time for one of the many appointments we made.

The finished work looks good and so far hasn't leaked.

I would certainly not wish to use them again or recommend them to anyone who wants the job done when expected."

"An excellent service provideed by steve and the team at camelot, we had some leaks and a few sheets needed to be replaced, we rang steve and he came that same afternoon, by the next day we had secured the price and by the following week the roof was completed and leaks fixed, we have had no problems with our roof and job was of very high quality. If you ever need roofing or roof repairs done i definately recommend camelot roofing"
