Jenny says: "We were moving from Dunedin to Wellington, so we dealt with people in the Dunedin office and Wellington office. The came across as very professional and reliable, so we went with them even though their quote was more. The following problems occurred with Crown: 1. They didnt tell us our furniture was backloaded. 2. They didnt tell us it could take up to 10 working days for delivery. 3. Loaders not in uniform (not a big deal, but not as advised). 4. The loaders werent going to plastic wrap our furniture or cardboard wrap our appliances. We had to ring the operations manager to have this done. 5. We advised the loaders that there was only one piece of furniture of sentimental value (1920s dresser). This was damaged in transit because it was not wrapped properly. 6. Other damage included the dryer surround was broken off, the fridge dented, a bookcase broken. 7. While unloading furniture the loaders were throwing the other peoples boxes out of the way to get to our furniture, so I would imagine they also received damaged items. 8. We did not opt for insurance so we accept the damage. However we did complain to the Operations Manager in Wellington about the dresser. It is now 6 weeks later and although he has made some effort to fix the damage it has been 6 weeks of waiting and repeated phone calls to have a resolution. We are still waiting. Having various points of contact is not effective from a customer point of view because they just blame the branch. Next time I move I will go with a small owner operator company so there is some accountability. I would not recommend Crown Relocations. "

Butch says: "Having moved a number of times over the years due to work commitments it would be fair to say that this was by far the easiest move, due to the professionalism and efficiency of all we dealt with, from initial contact through to the packing and unloading. Thanks Butch Bradley"
