"AWFUL experience -- haven't been messed around this much in a long time. Wanted to get full house central heating/air conditioning. Had thought these guys looked good, so got in contact with Jacob, with the hope of arranging a quote. He said he would call the following day to confirm a time for one of their team to pop over. The following day came and went, I called him again a few days later around midday, he answered, sounding like he'd just woken up, had completely forgotten about it… all, but arranged a time on the phone for someone to come around in 2 days. He seemed half-asleep when doing it so I was slightly concerned it might not stick, but figured I'd take him at his word, and so planned my day around it (having to organise being home during the day for it). The day comes, and 30 mins before they're meant to be here I get a call from Jacob saying they didn't have enough staff that day now and so had to cancel. He didn't seem bothered at all about whether it might have caused any problems for me, instead just suggested calling me again to set up a time in a few weeks! I was pretty stunned and annoyed... A family member who had previous experience with Shannon as a company (and who'd recommended me to them) called to see what was going on, and suddenly Jacob decided they actually would show up that day again! So instead of 10am, now at around 3pm one of their team, Ravi, came over and I spent an 1 1/2 hours with him going through the whole house, measuring, discussing etc. He said it all looked good and straightforward, but asked if I could send through a floor plan of the house to Jacob to go with the notes he'd written up to help them work out the quote. All good -- we tracked the floor plan down, emailed it through to Jacob, never heard back. Fainlly called Jacob and set up a time to meet to discuss the quote. Day comes for meeting -- surprise surprise, 30 mins before the meeting, Jacob calls to say he's looked at the floor plan.... and has simply decided he doesn't want to do the job. That's that! Didn't really give any reason, (despite being adamant when we'd made sure to check earlier that this was very much the type of job Shannon wanted to do) and didn't seem to care at all about if we felt mucked around. Really unpleasant and wish we'd just tried somewhere else to begin with. Shannon apparently used to be a good company... but it seems the good people have left, and the current ones are not good at all!"
