Leave a Review as a Guest: We'll send you a verification email to authenticate your feedback. Simply click the link in the email to publish your review. However, spam filters often block these emails, so creating an account is the most reliable option.
"I engaged Stump Busters for two jobs for a dozen or so stumps, costing approx. $1.1k. I thoroughly regret my decision to hire Stump Busters and would urge others to find a different stump grinder. Stump Busters didn't complete the quote and ignored something I specifically requested be done, yet still charged the full price. More recently, the owner has negligently and carelessly shared confidential information about my job to other people (which has caused me a lot of problems and distress)… and was belligerent and rude when I raised this breach with him, even threatening lawyers on me. He certainly seemed to care nothing about good customer service, confidentiality or his own T&Cs ... only after I had paid the money of course, since he then had all he wanted. There are a lot of good stump grinders in Auckland I'd expect. Dave Ruck's Stump Busters is not one of them based on my experience and is not worth the risk."

"Tried to accept quote, recieved no reply. Made contact to ask if contractor still interested in job, to please advise if not. Got a grumpy call back claiming job had been booked (without any sort of communication at all with me). He claimed once a job was accepted, jobs were just booked at they turn up (with no communication). He was in a horrible mood, grumy and rude. Waited all day, was a complete no show. No call or txt to postpone. I txt contractor today- said job was a no show. He… replied "Be there beween 9-10am today". I confirmed Okay and asked if he would please contact me if not coming (this time). Received reply txt less than a minute later saying best to book for next week (so he woudnt have even made time he suggested a minute earlier)! Got another phone call then, harping on about how it was just before Christmas. Contractor very clearly not interested in my business. Was atrociously rude and unprofessional. I cancelled job and told him his communication was crap."
"Great work. Reasonable price. Some issues with turning up but affected by weather and my cellphone reliability. Friendly, fast, knew their business. I recommend Julian and Alan."
"Great fast service price seemed high for the time taken but was cheapest quote, Got 2 stumps others told me couldn`t be done. Left site clean and tidy I would use them again."
