Gavin dropped off a plentiful supply of boxes, tape and packing paper - which was such a life saver as it saved me from any thinking I needed to do with what boxes I needed! What a service to have your packaging material delivered to your door weeks before the move and then a partial refund for any boxes we returned! The day of the move was a headache for us as we had a toddler to sort out in the morning, but the boys were fantastic and came on time - even let us start a little later to suit our toddler routine. We were so impressed with the care that was taken in moving our furniture. And though they moved slowly around the corners they sure packed up the house quickly. On arriving at our new house we were super impressed with the extra thought that they put into our new carpet. Though it wasn't a wet day, they put down blankets through indoor-outdoor areas so they didn't drip our already wet outdoor furniture that had to be taken through the house to get out on the patio.
And unlike other companies I'd used in the past they placed our furniture in the exact places we wanted them...and even made better suggestions of where some of furniture should be placed. It was really important for them to have our furniture in the right place for us so we didn't have to move it later. Would definitely use your service again and most definitely recommend to family and friends. Couldn't fault anything with your service and worth the money to have piece of mind in every aspect!"

Bev says: "This was the second time I'd used Smooth Movers and I thought the first time with some minor stuff moved was a breeze but... I can't believe what a stress free experience this 4 hours of moving was this time. Sure, I already had most of our stuff in boxes from where it had been stored for two years but their was still a sizeable amount of bedroom and office stuff including large furniture items and some fragile items to carry out. The Smooth Mover guys had a great attitude, were professional and so careful with our stuff and I learned a few tricks on observing their efficient packing skills. Then they were still able to fit in our two sea kayaks and four bikes as well. What a bonus and not expensive at all.In terms of efficiency and time and easy to deal with - all thumbs up. My move involved a lot of stuff, including plants, bricks, and garden treasures - fiddly items and lots of them!
The men who unloaded reassembled my beds and desk, which I could not figure how to do.
An additional load was done to bring the last of my goods.
I would recommend this company without hesitation. Their price was very reasonable, the staff were willing and cheerful, and they were careful with my goods.

However, there were no worries - the guys were there on time on a day when it was throwing down with rain, never stopped or complained once and simply professionally and personably got on with the job. They took the stress and strain out and were friendly from the moment they walked in and introduced themselves and asked how they could make the move easier. At the end of the day, they completed the move quickly, nothing was broken or scratched, they didn't take us up on offer of a drink until after everything was completed and we were happy with what they'd done. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them - and should we move again, they'll be the first people we book."
