"Excellent all round service from the first call for the quote to the exemplary clean up. I had also used Nocowboys to back up the neighbour's recommendation of Auckland Tree Services. I found it useful ie one person noted to check your quote covered all of the required work. For my job it included work on two large native trees with one of them having electrical and data wires through the branches so not so straight forward. I found it handy to be home and available to check in with the guys, and as the neighbour said they were so respectful."

"Auckland Tree Services took down to a height of 2m seven 20m high Lombardy poplars, which were close to our neighhbours' house, near the end of their life and dangerous. The guys were very knowledgeable, obviously love their trees and did an alround outstanding job in cutting our poplars. "These pruning guys worked for me twice. One month they picked the avocados on a high tree so that the birds did not get them all. A month later they pruned all six of my fruit trees, two of which are very high. They consulted well about what I wanted, and cleaned up superbly. It was expensive, but pruning big trees is always expensive."

"The guys from Auckland Tree Serviced, arrived when they said they would, they got straight into the work taking down a large Casarina tree that overhung a couple of classrooms and overhead power cables.
The tree was taken down with precision and no damage to the buildings or cables.

"The development on the neighbouring property has progressed to the state where it was obvious that my pohutukawa tree was in danger of being trimmed by an unskilled contractor. "I had a large phoenix palm tree very close to my house. The team were excellent from start to finish - quoting done speedily and pricing was better than other major felling companies. "I wanted some advice about how to manage the trees in my garden, including advice about felling or pruning some large trees. Josh came round and suggested some options and then sent me a detailed quote. I wanted to keep a lot of the felled wood for carpentry and wood turning and that was no problem.
We arranged for the work to be done at a convenient date and time and the two guys did a great job. They were on time and courteous and very helpful, including stacking the (very heavy) trunks and stump and taking away all the other debris.I was very impressed and will certainly use this company again."

"We had 3 large palms that needed to be removed. AKL Tree Services quoted for the job which was very competitive to the other 3 quotes we got. Once we accepted their quote they gave us dates from when they were available. We booked it in and it was confirmed the same day. They arrived exactly on time, removed the palms safely and cleaned up the area. The guy doing the grinding of the stumps worked safely also & cleaned up after. "Scott and his team took down 2 very tall pines on my road frontage and pruned another to stabilise a lean.

They did an exemplary job. They were punctual, clear on the job spec and well prepared. Scott had arranged a traffic management crew for the roadside work. The large trees were taken down in a really safe manner, the logs cut to firewood blocks and stacked and the branches chipped - a really tidy job . The pruning was very tricky as large branches needed to be removed at about 30 m up and swung down to avoid the hen house directly below. I was so impressed by Scotts skill , professionalism and approach to safety. Again the branches were chipped and the area was left tidy and the henhouse intact although the chickens were a bit nervous!
With all this the price was also quite reasonable - and I have a bit of experience with tree work.
Ill definitely get Scott and his team back when I need them next to tend to my trees."

"I contacted Simon and several others for a quote via a text message. Simon was one of a couple that replied within a quick period of time and was available to provide a quote and short notice. I ended up getting two quotes from two respected Aborists and Simon came out cheaper. He also took a more thorough look at the tree in question when gathering information for a quote. The job itself was done whilst I was away from the property. When I came home, the tree looked fantastic, I had more light as I had hoped for and the property was left clean. Very happy and will use again."

"There was a tree being removed a few doors down from our place by Auckland Tree Services. I went down to have a look at the job. The tree work was fast and the guys were out of there in about 3/4 of an hour leaving the site extremely tidy and clean. Very impressed.

I was looking for three quotes for the removal of a Liquidamabar tree that was causing damage to a driveway of a rental property. Auckland Tree Services replied to my request for a quote which compared very favourably with the other quotes received.

The work has been done, the mess cleared up and the whole experience of dealing with Simon from Auckland Tree Services has been easy, friendly, efficient and professional.

"We needed a tree urgently removed and not only did Simon call me back promptly, he was able to come around that evening to provide a quote and two days later the tree was cut down and fully removed. "Simon's quote was very reasonable considering the difficulty the tree presented. Chris and his two lads arrived on time. Chris did an amazing job with ensuring there was no damage to any of the neighbours properties that the large branches over hung. He had to contend with wind and a tree which had no central upper trunk for support.They cut some of the trunk into slabs as promised and stacked these neatly for me. They did a great job of mulching and removal of all debris. I would recommend their services anytime."

"Simon and his team were very professional and responded very quickly. I thought his quote was excellent for the amount of work that was required to be done.

The team started at 8.30am, finishing just after 6pm. It was a huge clearing job which included a huge oak, overgrown privet, puriri and a number of others I'm not familiar with.

Our back yard is now filled with lots of light and we are looking forward to less mosquitos.

The boys left our property very clean and tidy.

Based on our experience from start to finish, I thoroughly recommend Simon and his team of experienced arborists for a job well done. I doubt there is any tree out there that they couldn't deal to.

"We needed an overgrown queen palm removed as it was too close to our house. My husband emailed a number of tree removal companies - Simon was the only one who made contact. He came to see the job the next day, provided us with a very reasonable quote later that same day, and fitted us in around other work he was doing in our area in a very timely fashion. Apart from the base of the palm at ground level you would never know the palm ever existed there! We totally recommend Simon."

"Simon was really quick to respond to a fair urgent request. He had attend a site visit within 20 minutes and had completed the job by early afternoon on the same day.

Was a little surprised by $270+GST/hr but perhaps that's the going rate. Simon did tell me he didn't charge full price for some of the work. Thanks for that.

I was pleasantly surprised to see they had cleared away some of my earlier cuttings to.

Overall I'd still recommend these guys for the professionalism, timeliness and friendly nature."

"A quick note to say how highly I rate Auckland Tree Services and Simon in particular. They arrived when they said they would (both for quote and service) and did an excellent job of cutting down a mature chatham island nikau which was pushing against my house and up into the power line. because they completed the job in less than their minimum time, they also offered to clear away a huge pile of fronds that i had been piling up behind my shed. Simon is confident yet very polite and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. the service was excellent and I considered the cost very reasonable.

"Simon and his team did such a professional job - everything went very smoothly from our point of view, from the moment we contacted them to the end of the job. They communicated well, were prompt, did a tricky tree removal with no damage whatsoever - and tidied up the property once finished! They also went out of their way to provide us with firewood and mulch - exactly the quantity we wanted - and where we wanted it left.

"I contacted Simon about milling some 7m long 120 year old Rimu beams that traveled from Dunedin to Auckland to be part of our major renovation :) I contacted him because there wasn't a mill in Auckland that would touch them without being x rayed and at $250 a hour for seven huge beams this could have ended up being thousands of dollars.

So Simon came round and looked at the beams and was totally positive about the project and that Friday was on site milling them in my back yard. He done an amazing job, with the help of the builders guiding him around 120 year old nails, he steam rolled through 7 beams at 7m long and 250 x 250. Now there are 14 beams and now they are making their final journey to resting in our chapel ceiling, creating huge wow factor and giving me a piece of the place where I grew up right here in Auckland.

Thanks Simon, awesome job!!!! You helped my dream come true when everyone else backed away :)

"Would happily use these guys again. I got them in to remove a dead tree on a serious lean over the boundary fence of two neighbours. They removed the tree with much less disruption to both my neighbours than either of the other two companies I got quotes from had indicated would be necessary. Reasonably priced, quick to visit and provide a quote, and the tree was removed within 2 days of me giving them the go-ahead. Friendly guys, easy to deal with and left the site nice and tidy afterwards."

"ATS have just completed a sterling job on our bush lined property - we couldn't recommend these pro guys enough. Most of the trees required climbing, with controlled drops off the tops - so all hard graft, but completed without a hitch.
We even had a large stocky pine towering over our carport - the trunk only 1.2 metres away - all down, diced and sliced and not a single dent on the roof.
Turned up at the agreed start time And yes, competitively priced too. Well done guys, appreciated and many thanks.
