    "Jeff was hired to build a deck to the rear of our property. He was great to deal with. Very friendly and laid back. Happy to entertain a two year old who was very interested in the nail gun and saw. Would thoroughly recommend."

    "Jeff was hired to replace cladding boards on laundry that were water damaged due to having had decks built right up to them without any gaps. That part went fine however he then removed a small deck and the pavers that were the back entrance into the house. - this hadn't been requested! He replaced the deck with a low concrete pad which has now become a pond with all the recent rain and replaced the pavers with the most hideous deck which everyone who has seen it has called an absolute eyesore… and turns out not to be legal. What I am so angry about is this had not been discussed and was certainly not something I would have agreed to - it's just another water problem. So much of the things of his brief were not done and things that had not been requested were done instead. I did ask Jeff not to return as he had refused to do some of the vital things on the list as no longer being required.

    I had an inspection done and was informed that much of his work did not meet the building regulations and the things he was saying now didn't need doing actually were required under these regulations which made me wonder about his qualifications as it would appear he isn't up to date with current requirements.

    While he has a good heart I was paying for a set job to be done not things he wanted to do.    "

    "This person has disregarded her responsibility as a client, in her contractural arrangement with a builder, by failing to observe and act upon the Construction Contracts Act directive regarding payment and dispute resolution, that governs our industry. Bach & Lifestyle Homes do follow the specified procedures for payment and dispute resolution. This person has not taken care to honestly and fully state the' scope of work' in their contract with us. Bach & Lifestyle Homes do question the authenticity of said inspection and whoever did it, as Yvonne Hoffman has failed, upon our request, to provide us with a copy of the inspection report and which also specifies the name, authority and qualifications of the said inspector."

    "beautiful job done on time, in budget. We love our deck and our counter sunk spa. Lovely attention to detail from Jeff, along with thoughtful observations and excellent suggestions for improvements on our original idea. Jeff's right hander, Shelly, is a pleasure to have on the property. She brings sensitivity to balance Jeff's brawn. Very good team. "

    "We recently had a new deck and privacy screen built by Jeff. He was easy to talk to and helpful with suggestions of how we might want the screen to look. The work was completed in a timely manner and our new deck looks really great."

    "We were very lucky to meet Jeff as he saved us lot of money and did an excellent job. He is a genuine trustworthy laid-back friendly builder with very tidy work and attention to detail.

    His price is very reasonable and the comments I got from the council’s building inspectors about Jeff’s workmanship is also very satisfactory too.

    Our extension included 2 bedrooms, bathroom, dining space and basement garage. Jeff gave us couple of references and luckily we selected Jeff after talking… to those people. What they said definitely reflected on his work. The products he used are quality products and didn\'t make any fuss even when we change our minds time to time.

    As we saw the progress of his high quality workmanship, we asked Jeff to make lot of changes to the existing house as well which wasn\'t included the initial discussions. Jeff gave us lot of tips to save costs. He was upfront and told me the cost of extras so I wouldn\'t end up with a heavy bill at the end. He was very tidy and kept the place as clean as possible.

    Overall 10/10 and exceeded our expectations.

    I am stoked with the final result and would have no hesitation in either recommending Jeff to others or contacting him myself for future work.
