"Basil does a bunch of stuff that is polite behaviour in the day to day world, which I've sadly found sometimes lacking when dealing with electricians and plumbers etc - he clearly puts the customers first in that he turns up on time, does great work without overcharging, and communicates clearly what is going on. He has done work at my place multiple times. I recommend him without reservation.

"I strongly recommend Basil! I needed an electrician unexpectedly when we realised that a tiling job that was underway needed the electrical outlets sorted. I rang Basil and he was able to come and check out the job within an hour, between other jobs. He problem solved effectively with the tiler, and came back this week after the tiler's work was finisehd, to work on the electrical fittings. He did a good job and was great to deal with. I'd be happy to contract him again any day!"

"Excellent service at a competitive rate.
I contacted Basil at 4pm on a Friday after we had a sudden power outage. He was on site within an hour and quickly diagnosed the issue, then offered to use the rest of the hour fixing niggly issues that didn't justify a call out on their own. Very pleased with the service overall, great value for money. "

"I used Basil’s services again after having a power supply installed to a shed and a heat pump installation earlier this year, which were both done to a high standard. This time Basil installed a new oven and hob in one of my flats. He came even earlier than promised, did a wonderful job and even replaced some lightbulbs in a very high ceiling as an extra. "We had an element blow on our hot water tank, and after phoning round a few places (and leaving messages on various answering services which never got answered) we found Basil Kotrotsos who, despite being busy on another job, answered and got a colleague to come the same day. The electrician came when he said he would, giving half an hour notice before he arrived, and the work was done promptly, politely and efficiently. The bill came through at a competitive price too. "Basil has completed two electrical jobs for me. The first being the installation of two fire alarms and checking the wiring of the existing alarms and two electrical switches. The second time was replacement of an en suite bathroom heater, replacing a towel rail and repairing a towel rail switch. That's what I like about Basil he recommends what is best for the customer, suggesting repairing the switch over replacement. He did need to replace a towel rail in our 2nd bathroom and did a… great job having to drill new holes in the tile wall and filling the gaps of the existing holes. He is in and out and a true professional who arrives on time. A genuine nice chap who I would highly recommend."

"We were really pleased at the work Basil did for us in replacing and upgrading several lights in March 2014. Unfortunately one of the fittings developed a fault and Basil fixed it immediately when we called him about it. Unfortunately due to a manufacturing fault, the problem recurred in July so we contacted Basil. He promptly replaced the fitting free of charge.
Basil is always easily contactable by phone and email and he arrives exactly when promised. He is very cheerful, efficient and… tidy. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others, or getting him back to do any other electrical jobs in the future. Thanks Basil, we appreciate the great job you did and the replacement of the light fitting- the new one is working great.
