"Welcome back Dave.
A great neat and tidy job installing some new LED downlights and a "smart" ceiling fan. What should've been a pretty straight forward job turned into a bit of a nightmare due to some previously incorrectly installed wiring necessitating Dave having to crawl around the ceiling trying to trace wiring covered with our wonderful blown wool insulation."

"So glad Davo is back up and running. Swapped out a failed element in a 90’s hot water cylinder in place that was hard to get at and very corroded. Absolute pig of a job but he got it done. Wife had days with no hot water, things were getting tense. Now she is very happy. Happy wife happy life. Thanks Davo, you’re an absolute legend. "

"Davi did a great job on my aged switchboards replacing old gear with new switches and fuse mountings and provided a certificate of compliance at the end so as to get it ratified by the local inspector. He worked on the job constantly until it was done. Many thanks and I would recommend him for any electrical job. I believe he does plumbing as well and some building and renovation work."

"If it was possible, I'd rate Dave Callender's service 1000% and A+ and 5***** star. Have you ever tried to contact a plumber/electrician on Christmas Eve? Good luck! With an emergency at hand, and no one seemingly available, an angel arrived in his van - and he turned out to be one of the best tradespeople I've ever met. After working for over 2.5 hours - and even heading out into heavy seasonal traffic to get parts before the suppliers closed - he hardly charged a thing. No surcharge for the… day and the problem was resolved with supreme results! Astonishing. What a champion - and a thoroughly experienced, intelligent, capable, decent, trustworthy and lovely human to deal with! THANK YOU, DAVE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. "We contracted Davo to install a new cook top and replace some old fittings and dodgy wiring. Whilst onsite he readily identified any further issues we had and resolved those for us. "Dave rewired our rental property and installed new powerpoints and lights and three extract fans. It was quite a big job undertaken while we were renovating including a complete interior repaint. I really appreciated Dave's 'can do' attitude which achieved for example one shower extract fan installed in a very tight ceiling space , which several other electricians had said was impossible, telling us it required the roof to be cut. Also Dave's way of thinking outside the square to come up with… smart solutions at the best price. And he's great value on site, very positive and full of great jokes and stories. I would definitely employ him again, in fact I have already, twice. The fact that he also does plumbing work makes him a great choice for a landlord."

"Dave did a plumbing job for me, he had to move a pipe for me and install a new tap, he had to crawl under a house which was wet and muddy.

"Dave was hired to do electric work to fix an auto ignite gas connection. The 1st thing I liked about Dave was that he was contactable and responds to text or voicemails unlike other tradies. He understands our needs and comes up with the best solution possible to our problems in the easiest way possible. No complicating things. Simple and straightforward. And the quotes and billing have been consistent. When he was here for the gas job, I had mentioned to Dave I had a few other minir electrical… jobs around the house like a wonky switch, need for sensors etc. He offered to fix minor ones immediately without hesitation and arranged another appointment for the remaining big jobs. Very thorough and reliable. We had an issue with a faulty sensor which he followed up on promptly with no delays. I highly recommend Dave for your electrician needs. Thank you Dave. You were awesome and we know whom we will call for our future electrical work."

"Davo first visited our house to fix a plumbing problem with our hot water cylinder that two other plumbers failed to fix. He was reliable, quick to respond, meticulous in his work and tidy. Since then he has fixed a number of sockets that weren't working, installed LED lights in our living room and replastered an old leak in our garage roof. His work is always top-notch, his communication excellent (even when there are delays out of his control) and his pricing is very fair. I now contact him… first with all manner of jobs."

"After waking up and realising there was no hot water Dave came by before heading out for his booked jobs that morning - had a quick look to understand the issue.
He promised he would be back later which he was and fixed the hot water element pretty swiftly.

"we have employed Dave on various occassions for several years now for all sorts of jobs - he's always been more than willing - even popping over in the weekend to check things out for me.
