    "I have only had Marcus do a minor job for me, but he got me back on the road quickly! I'd been having trouble starting my car (a VW Golf 1998) and had got stuck a couple of times...realising it was probably the battery, I called Marcus who told me to open the bonnet and take a photo of the battery and send it to him. He sourced a battery on the spot for me, and when I showed up, later than expected - right as he was shutting up shop for the day - I was impressed that he took the time & went the extra mile for me at the end of his work day to get me on the road again even though it took a bit longer than one would expect due to the fiddly nature of these cars' battery fitting...I watched him due it and he certainly wasn't taking any detours. Would recommend him to anyone, as he has a strong work ethic, goes the extra mile for his clients, & I know he is very experienced and knows his stuff. I will be taking my car to him for any future repairs.

    "I would like to state that Car Clinic North Canterbury is one of the best places that I have ever taken my vehicles to.I have a Range Rover 2007 and BMW 118i 2006 and Marcus has fixed problems that even the big Dealerships could not fix. He serviced both these vehicle on regular intervals. I have a background in Aircraft Engineering I find him very competent with very good work ethics and communicates extremely well when he finds problems. I would have no problem with recommending Marcus to any body."

    "I am begging people of Rangiora never to take their Range Rover to this garage. Marcus Taylor is not a qualified Range Rover specialist as he professes. He will try to talk his way out of anything but in fact he knows nothing about them other than how much they are worth and he almost convinced us into selling our Range Rover to him for $7000 by saying the engine had failed when there was not much wrong with it other than a coil lead had been left off the engine on purpose. This person is a disgrace to the profession and needs to be stopped."

    "I wanted to have my Peugeot 407 transmission flushed as I was having problems with flaring/clunking of my tiptronic transmission. I was hoping that a flush may cure/help with the problem. I contacted the Car Clinic in Rangiora and was advised that a flush could be done on this car.
    I was phoned once the job had been completed, I was also informed at the same time that they were unable to flush the transmission as it is not possible on these makes of vehicles. The fluid was still however changed.

    On driving the vehicle back home I noticed that the transmission problems are now significantly worse.

    I was charged 2 hours for the labour costs as well as 12 litres of fluid and lubricant.

    I should have been phoned prior to any transmission change that they were unable to flush the transmission as I would have put a holt to the job. This was my sole reason for taking the vehicle in. It also took the mechanic 2 hours to complete the job, primarily because he was unfamiliar with the vehicle. Why should I have to front the extra labour costs because the mechanic was not familiar with the vehicle He should have told me this from the beginning.

    I paid $342.70 (very expensive) to receive a car worse off.

    Whilst the service I received was friendly enough I cannot recommend this company and advise the customer to look elsewhere.

    "I see I have bad feedback from a person called Bruce who originally got in touch with me regarding to a problem on his 2006 Peugeot 407 with a transmission problem, now there is more to this story and I am not very happy with this at the moment. This vehicle has got 288,937km on the speedo he had only just purchased the car approx 3 months before he rang me and had already told me that he new the car had issues with the transmission. Now bearing in mind it is a 2006 car with almost 300,000km on the clock, I had said yes to getting this vehicle into the workshop but I had said that there was no guarantee at all the trans / flush would be able to sort out as my guess was it would need replacing or done up but he said that he wanted this doing first as it was the cheaper option. Once in the workshop we test drove the vehicle and yes it was changing gears late etc. Now we put in the trans flush additive to breakdown any varnish etc around the valving etc. when the vehicle was put on the hoist I noticed it had a dreaded sealed for life gearbox which meant we had no way of hooking up are machine to it. So I went the long way around performing the same thing but this meant draing and filling the gearbox sevearl times in which it was 4 times draining and five times refilling before the fluid was clean and on the fifth fill we put in the oil conditioner. Now are normal transmission services start at $210.00 with 6 litres of fluid included. Bruce was charged a total of $342.70 which was for the extra time and for the fluid in actual fact the way we had to do it I was on the vehicle for about 3 hours not the two hours he was charged for. The fact that the gearbox was not running as good was probably due to the trans mission flush fluid getting rid of the gunk that stops the valves etc from working to there full status. I tried my best to help and this client he knew that there was every posiblity that it was not going to fix the problem he even offered the car to me for what he had paid for it originally, I said I would think about it but it was not a cheap gearbox to get hold of. I think he was peeved off he bought the car thinking it would be a cheap fix up and I wore the brunt of his anger. All the time I have been with Nocowboys with this and my other company Car Clinic Christchurch which I sold in January 2012 I have always had good feed back, don\'t get me wrong if I had done this client wrong I would not be writing to you now.
