    "We have used Chain Construction for over 12 years for many projects on our return verandah villa. These have been small jobs which the team are always happy to accommodate, and larger rebuild or renovation jobs. Their workmanship and work ethic is excellent. They arrive on time, and clean up at the end. They always do a thorough job and check where issues come up, about what we would like to do. They give good advice and present the options where a decision has to be made. They also have… excellent contacts for other tradespeople. Projects we have used them for include a garage conversion, installing joinery, external and weatherboard maintenance to prepare for painting, raising a lowered ceiling, wardrobes, a full attic conversion, reroofing (through their contact), ceiling and under floor insulation, verandah rebuild, project management.     "I approached James about doing some reclad work on my house, and Dudley managed it onsite. They were both fantastic to deal with. Responsive, full communication, quote up front, happy to flex when I added in bits and so helpful. Very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble, did the job exactly when they said they would and in fact the new windows/doors ordered came faster than expected. I would 100% recommend them."

    "I had a small (leaking) balcony properly levelled and rewaterproofed, railings repaired, and new door installed to fit the changed level. I appreciate the professionalism of the Chain Construction team. The job was discussed, priced, booked and carried out to a high standard, with no mucking around. Sub trades and material all sorted without any bother. And they vacuumed my stairs. (!) I also commend the Chain directors for encouraging and supporting young people into the trade. It is so… important."

    "Chain Construction did an excellent job of replacing steel beams under a high deck on a pole house on a steep section. This end of the house had to be supported while it was done. Not for the faint hearted. Other work involved new deck railings and deck repairs, and verandah roof replacement. The whole job was complex and engineering input was needed. I cannot recommend Dave, Dudley and his team highly enough. Experienced, competent, reliable, hard working, no hold-ups, budget pretty much as… indicated and all work and timetables well explained. Also very good blokes."

    "I highly recommend these builders. They respond quickly to all enquiries and most importantly, turn up exactly on time, every time! Dudley was the builder who did our kitchen building work for us (involving dismantling and removing the old kitchen, moving a door and removing a window as well as ceiling and wall work) and he and his team did an excellent job. They completed the whole job in the timeframe advised (no leaving little bits and pieces unfinished and only returning weeks later to… finish off), they were prompt every day and left the site in a neat and tidy condition at the end of each day. I can honestly say this has been the best building experience I've had."

    "Great advice from Dave on how to address the problem of rot in the foundations and the issues with ground levels.
    His team turned up when he said they would, worked tirelessly to finish the job quickly, and made some great suggestions that kept the cost down. And cleaned up after they finished!
    Overall, an excellent job - professional workmanship, great communication, and under budget. What more could you ask for?

    "They were so considerate & sympathetic whilst still completing an absolutely immaculate, professional job of recladding etc etc our home.. Being in the business I asked around extensively before choosing a builder, so was very confident about them, right from the start. They didn\'t let us down. Just all thoroughly pleasant, honest , competant builders, and a big part of it was the endless hours and diplomacy with Council, which we would have been unable to handle on our own.     "Chain Construction are a wonderful company to use for a renovation or new build.Their work is beautiful and they enjoy a challenge. No job is too big or too small, and they excell at dealing with difficult design issues..Dave Fredric never sees anything as a problem, for him there are only good solutions.

    "Dave and his team of builders at Chain Construction were all skilled professionals who could be relied on to produce top quality work from start to finish. Chain undertook a major renovation of our sagging 1870s Ponsonby villa, including adding an extra storey, and they did a fantastic job. Six years down the track we have had no problems and are enjoying our comfortable, warm, light house as much as we did when the job was first finished. We were well-informed throughout the process and… participated in all decisions. We still keep in touch with Dave whenever we or other family members need builders and tradesmen.
