"After reading the reviews on No Cowboys, I contacted Danny's Palms to carry out extensive landscaping at our rural property to get it ready for sale. We had a tight deadline to have everything completed before the photos. Al turned up with his team and worked his magic to have everything completed on time and to a high standard. Nothing was a problem for Al and he would always come up with solutions. Al and his team were friendly and hard working throughout the days they spent transforming our… property. "We have used Danny's Palms on several occasions in two different properties for our landscape requirements. We have always been very happy with the work done & the results.
The first two jobs we got done were some planter boxes with palms and tropical plants. Where we failed doing it ourselves, they did a beautiful job choosing thriving plants.
The last job they did for us was a retaining wall alongside our house to make for a tidy looking path, connecting onto the deck at the front.
All… jobs were done on schedule, with reasonable quotes for a great result & a very friendly team.

I highly recommend them."

"I totally rate these guys. They turned up, did the job really quickly, even laid grass seed down where they had dug out a stump (without me asking them to).
They were cheaper than the other quotes, tidy and really fast. No fuss and they were very kind. Would definitely use them again, 100%. "

"The day Rhys came to check out my property and think of how my garden could be transformed, I was thoroughly impressed with how he sat down and drafted a design on the spot, even with prices quoted! It took me several months to get ready for the project, but he honoured his original quote and completed the work as hoped. I am very pleased with the end result - the crew were a joy to have around and Rhys' leadership was superb.
The only huge disappointment I experienced was that Rhys took… down my huge, lush lemon tree even though it was meant to stay according to the plan. He kindly gave me a replacement tree, but a year later it's still nowhere near where the last one was. I'm hoping it one day becomes as wonderful as the previous."

"I made an enquiry into getting someone to give me some ideas for my entire garden back and front from an ad on Trade Me Services. I spoke to Rhys who made an appointment within a few days to come to my place for a free quote. He turned up on time and offered his ideas on some paper and a breakdown of the costs which were spot on. I gave him my budget and he worked with it adding huge discounts to the chosen plants! That same week, he and his team turned up and were on the job! Before I knew… it the garden was a complete makeover and was even fertilized for free. He changed walls around to create a feature garden and incorporated huge rocks and stone to bring the beach to me! Rhys added some of his own flare to the garden making it look that extra bit beyond amazing, designing a solid concrete wall into a piece of art! I have had nothing but comments saying what a stunning transformation and asking who did it! I recommend Rhys to landscape design and build anyones garden. He is enthusiastic in what he does and extremely talented and as I went through 6 months of hell dealing with not one good tradesmen renovating my property, I was reluctant to get someone to do such a huge job in my garden! Communication, value, workmanship and more the point very trustworthy, reliable and responsive. Prices are hard to find anywhere else as I have searched wholesalers and elsewhere. I would not recommend anyone else! Thanks Rhys and the team!!!"

About us
Wholesale plant nursery plus landscapers, as we are wholesale our prices for plants are cheaper than other landscapers. We specialise in mature palm trees however have a full variety of landscaping plants. We offer a FREE landscape design service, plus doing general garden maintenance. We can show you the plants and give you a general layout of what your garden design would look like in advance as we have the pants at our extensive nursery in Whenuapai.

What we do
We grow 95% of palms on the property. They are grown in bags out in the natural environment, sun, wind and rain. This creates a strong healthy palm that will thrive when planted straight in the ground or a pot.

Auckland experiences variable weather conditions. When a palm has not been grown in a transportable bag, or was grown under a shade cloth/glasshouse, it is not hardened to natural environmental conditions. When planted outside it can cause stress to the palm, which may result in the palm not establishing itself as quickly.
