"I have used the services of Dion Kerr Builders on several occasions. I have found Dion to be a skilled and considerate builder that is able to complete tasks on time and within budget. My house is over a hundred years old and so it has quirks that make what should be simple jobs not so simple. "I would highly recommend Dion, I only had a small job of making a doorway to a storage area, he was prompt, communication was great, quality of workmanship was great and he cleaned up! Work was carried out on a commercial building and all too often in the past I have tirades treat a commercial job with a reduced quality expectation. "Dion provided me with a prompt and reasonable quote for a deck. He started the job on time and kept me fully informed of progress and options to ensure the work came in on budget. Dion battled hard with the weather and a somewhat challenging, muddy and steep section. He is truly dedicated and built a fantastic deck. I would highly recommend Dion as he is a reliable and skilled builder who won't let you down and i wouldn't hesitate to use Dion for any further building work in the future"

"I contacted Dion to have a door frame replaced; he assessed the job the day after I contacted him and gave me a quote for the repair. He arrived on time having already picked up the required materials and installed the new frame and door. I am really impressed with the high quality of Dion’s workmanship; his attention to detail is superb. After dealing with builders who don’t turn up or cannot be bothered with small jobs it is great to find someone who turns up on time, gives accurate… quotes, is competitively priced and has an excellent standard of workmanship. "We employed Dion to build a deck and covered area for preschool. From start Dion was great to deal with - he made suggestions for improvements to our ideas, engaged us when he needed to and was also friendly. When work started he put fence up to stop kids at preschool going on the deck he was building.
We've had a fair bit of work done over the years and I can say that compared to other builders quality of workmanship is second to none. He did beautiful job with curved edging to deck and… strengthened the covered areas with braces so that it is rock solid.

The parents of kids at preschool have been commenting how great it looks.

"Whatever building work you are considering - large or small scale, Dion adds value every time. We can't recommend him highly enough. Great ideas, well priced, excellent communication, good time management. Brilliant. He did all kinds of major work on our house - he transformed our sunroom structurally (including building wonderful decking for inside-outside flow) and discovered and fixed dodgey previous building work so it looks amazing and is very well built. He did roofing, major fencing,… gating, decking, fixing doors and old 1930s windows, reviewing the house for any structural issues (thankfully none once the sunroom was fixed) so it has a clean and very good looking bill of health now. Dion has great ideas and an amazing work ethic such that we trust him to have a key and be in the house when we aren't around. Thank you Dion, no doubt I'll be calling again soon for other help on other properties!"

"I've used Dion for several jobs on my property over the years, the most major and recent being replacing some aging decking and cladding, and I have only become more impressed with his service. The great thing about Dion s that he is very pragmatic - my house is always providing tricky problems which make me cringe, but Dion is never short of a practical solution. He is conscientiousness, carrying out work to an excellent standard, and he does so at very reasonable cost. I have found him to be… very friendly, very reliable and completely trustworthy. "We contacted three builders about replacing a large fence which had been destroyed in a storm. Dion was the only one who actually got back to us which was a good start! He showed up to quote the job when he said he would. Because this was a boundary fence there was a lot of back and forth between the neighbours re cost and liabilty which meant that the job was delayed from when we first contacted Dion. He was patient and flexible throughout this process and his quote very competitive. When we… were finally ready to go ahead, he showed up when he said he would and completed the job extremely quickly. His workmanship is fantastic - the fence looks great and is very well constructed. He left absolutely no mess behind (not always the case with tradies!) and was great at keeping in touch. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, quality builder."

"Two bathroom renovations at the same time! Dion gave budget estimates rather than a hard fixed price - it was a brilliant way to go as when things happend, as they do, it was no trouble to modify the process to reach the best outcome without major cost implications.
I have never seed a builder with such accurate measurement of cuts ect., it was more like cabinet maker accuracey.
We struck him at a very busy period and he kept us informed of all the juggling he needed to do to keep us… and other customers happy and was willing to work over the weekend to fit it all in."

"Dion did our bathroom in October this year. We needed a cavity door installed, new wall built and re-positioning of the suite at short notice as the original builder failed to show. Dion's communications were great and he was reliable and competitively priced. His structural work was really good so we got him to do some other building work to sure up our decks. All good. "We had a problem with our front door in that ithe Aluminium frame had come out of the timber door jam , this is quite a massive door. Dion was fantastic, arrived on time and what a fantastic job. What i thought was a major he had repaired and you wouldnt know it had been damaged. Absolutely perfect job and very resonably priced.We have no hesitation recomending dion for any repair or building work you require."

His quote was reasonable, his work was on time despite weather issues and his work was of a very good standard.
