"Excellent communication and service from Dean and his team. Very helpful advice on what needed to be done (garden clear up in preparation for selling house). Arrived on time and got the job done within the timeframe advised. Staff were very friendly and especially accommodating of our 4-year-old who chattered non-stop and wanted to "help". "I contacted Enviro-scapes as I needed a substantial amount of work to be done including garden tidy, removing a swingset and replacing with plants etc. Dean was prompt with his communication, provided a detailed quote and an honest appraisal of tasks requested. The garden tidy, planting and other jobs were done meticulously and the property looks great. I have engaged Dean on an ongoing basis to mow the lawns."

"Dean and the team have done a great job. They had a look first, suggested what would work best for our front garden and then got the job done fast and perfect. I highly recommend their work. They had a huge task of clearing a very over grown property owned by an elderly person and they did a magnificent job in one day. All the grass clippings and trees were taken away too."

"Top marks to Dean and his team. Dean was very prompt and professional when contacted for a quote to trim my bamboo hedge. He turned up on time, listened to what we wanted and quoted us a fair price for the work. When we accepted his quote we booked us in for the following week. As promsed, his guys turned up when he said they would and finished the job to our satisfaction... and tidied up!!!"

Dean consulted with me and asked questions to understand exactly what I wanted to achieve with the space - cleared garden, tidied remaining trees, stump grinding and turned the soil ready for planting. "I had Dean quote to tidy up my rental property. This job is usually done by my aging parents and I once a year so I have a fair idea what's involved and how long it takes. I decided to get someone else to do the work this time as my parents are slowing down and don't seem to be as agile as they once were, sadly.

Dean went to the property, judged what needed to be done and provided me with a scope of works and cost estimate. While I was happy with the quote, my mistake was that I didn't go to the property with him and specify in detail what my expectations were.

However I viewed the property after the works had been done and I was quite disappointed. While it was clear the hedges had been trimmed and so on, the effects were minor. Essentially it hadn't been cut back hard enough and I knew that in a few months time I would need to go back to the property and do it all over again. It's July now, four months after Dean and his team did the work, and I've just had landscapers in to prune the trees on the property and are planning the next stage to trim the hedges back etc. Far too soon to do it all over again I feel.

Expensive. I paid approximately $900 to Dean, a days work I believe. It takes my aging parents and I half a day for a much more thorough job.

The positives - excellent communication and reliable.

And yes, my aging parents will be assisting with the next stage of pruning works."

"Dean has been my professional gardner/landscaper/maintenance person for approximately 8 years. Not only does he do what I ask, he always has intelligent, well informed suggestions, which I am happy to go with. Nothing is a problem for him - he just gets in and gets it done at a cost which I always think is reasonable.

"I don\'t give these reviews out lightly but these guys were great. Got in and did an honest days job tidying up our garden in Kelston, Akl. They worked a long and hard day and the result was better than I was expecting.

It\'s hard to find a tradey who puts in an honest days work for an honest return. Again, these guys did just that. Good work, well priced and great qualit. Well recommended."

"I have used Enviro-Scapes for the past ten years for monthly gardening, and for one off jobs such as redoing our entire garden in woodchip, and edging the entire garden in ponga logs. Several times we have needed large trees topped, and Dean has been able to do a great job for a lot less than other companies have quoted. We also get Dean to trim our hedge every couple of months.

Dean always does a great job and everything is left very tidy - he has even taken extra rubbish away for us. I would highly recommend him as an honest and reliable tradesman who gives good value for money."
