"Really great work. I chose this business because even though they weren't the cheapest they got straight back to me when I filled in the form and kept me in touch every step of the way. I think my job was actually more complicated than I thought it waa going to be but Thomas came up with some good ideas and he was very pleasant to deal with overall. The Operations Manager answered all my questions promptly and they made it all easy and no fuss. I'll be having Handyfix back again"

"Handyfix was amazing to deal with. The first contact with Rachel, their operations manager really set the tone and we felt looked after. She kept us informed about everything that was happening prior to the job starting. The work was thorough and Thomas did a really nice job of building a new deck and replacing a rotten window and all coming in within the estimate. We will hire the 2017 Handyfix again when we need more work done. Thanks guys you were 100% for me."

"The tiling was good, apart from a couple of tiles not quite vertical, but there were quite a few things that went wrong, some of which I think were preventable with a little more knowledge and thought:
The bathroom basin leaked from both the basin waste and an outlet join. It took me some time to sort out both problems myself. I had to buy a plumbers wrench ($20) to sufficiently tighten the basin waste (the bit that has the plughole).
The sink plug had been assembled with the rubber washer upside down. Thomas promised to buy another one, but did not do so. After fitting a pressure valve so we could have a stronger flow of hot water the excess pressure valve was dripping. Thomas commented, "That's odd...shouldn't be doing that". Eventually I worked out how to turn down the pressure until the leak stopped. The overflow was running through the old header tank tray which I thought might attract rats and mice. It didn't take me long to use some excess hose Thomas had left behind to bypass the tray so we can now remover the old header tank - no longer needed. So with Thomas you have to remove the rubbish and may need to do some finishing yourself. Some of that could require pretty good plumbing skills. To be fair, Thomas did refund a few hundred dollars to cover this work. ...and don't ask Thomas to apply resin to your bench top Admittedly he informed us he hadn't done it before. His Building Prac. Number is 121 521 We thought he was a qualified plumber...

"I was really impressed by Handyfix! Thomas was so accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy about the work and the price. I found him to be a really genuine guy and I felt safe having him in my home. There are a lot of cowboys out there but this guy isn't one of them and I found him to be very trustworthy. I would recommend him to my friends and family as someone who does a really great job. Thanks Handyfix!"

"There are a couple of guys operating under this name. I had a pretty big problem with Thomas. The other guy Neil, seemed onto things. It took ages to get someone to come and then the particular person coming changed 3 times!! The job quality was very poor. Corrective work took a couple of months to organise and to be fair needed different parts which Thomas funded. However, first job was terrible, phones messages and texts took weeks to get a reply, the same with emails. When he did show up, he was ALWAYS late, and used my tools. Very disappointed."

"I had the guys from Handyfix bring a team led by Neil to my home to install a new ranchslider onto my deck. The price was around what I would have expected to pay and I have to say I was very impressed by their skill, expertise and the professional and meticulous way they went about their job. They did a beautiful job and I was very happy with it and would definitely hire them again."
