"True proof of good service is how someone treats you when things go wrong. .... the installers were lovely... but when they left I had neither a manual or remote... couldn't use the unit for two weeks... and I had naively paid in full. When the remote did show up the unit sprayed water down my inside wall. I was offered an inferior unit as a replacement... for the same price as I paid for the better one. About two weeks later... hose connected properly... but in doing so even more water flooded my bedroom carpet... not even a courteous heads up... I had to buy a dehumidifier and running for a week to dry the carpet out. ... couple of weeks after that... electrician finally calls to complete paper work... which I didnt get for a couple more weeks. I still dont have a manual... but I do have water marked walls... and moldy skirting boards... and have been advised to contact my insurer. I dont leave bad reviews lightly... but I feel I gave Heat Pump City ample time... never raised my voice... never swore at anyone... I need a second unit in my lounge room... I wont be using Heat Pump City."

"1. Replacement Unit – As soon as we realised that the unit does not come with remote and manual, we offered to uninstall the unit and replace with a similar unit for no extra charge to the client. Due to COVID 19 and ongoing stock issues, the supplier (Daikin) does not have the exact same model that the client purchased. For this reason, we offered the client a more expensive Fujitsu equivalent unit, installed with no extra charge within the next day. The client chose to reject our offer, and accused us of offering an inferior product. 2. Remote - As the client wishes to keep the unit that was installed, we immediately placed an order with our supplier (Daikin) to dispatch a remote to her directly. Due to COVID and ongoing stock and delivery issues, it took 2 weeks for Daikin to dispatch the remote to her. We followed up a few times with Daikin to make sure it gets delivered as soon as possible. 3. Manual – We also arranged for the supplier to send a manual to her directly (and followed up a few times) but it was not done. As soon as we found the manual was not sent after a while, we had one specially printed and couriered to her asap. 4. Leak - As soon as the client notified us that there was a leak, we sent our installer back on site to repair the leak. When we arrived at the property, we noticed that the client was not there but left the heat pump on and allowed the leak to continue dripping which we thought was strange as one would have turned off the heat pump to limit the damage. Anyhow, we fixed the leak straight away and the heat pump is now functioning well without a leak. 5. As the customer informed us of water damage caused to the wall and skirting, we thought the best way is to have it sorted properly, and ensure the damage gets assessed and repaired where necessary through our insurer. We were advised by our insurance company that we need to file a claim and for our customer to inform their insurer that we have lodged a claim so the insurers can communicate between themselves. We have lodged our claim, and are waiting for the client to start her end of the process. For some reason, the client refuses to engage with their insurer or our insurer to resolve this. ""

"The site visit and quotation process was very professional, timely and friendly with David sharing his extensive knowledge on heat pumps. Once we agreed to go ahead the professionalism and service provided by Heat Pump City was appalling. The booking that we made for a full day to have two heat pumps installed was messed up, there was no followup paperwork following the installation, and all contact that we had was rude, aggressive and not customer focused. The office team who co-ordinated the installation of the units were unprofessional, so our experience with this business was inconsistent in standards throughout the process. 8 weeks following installation we are still awaiting the warranty documents, receipt of full payment made and a copy of the electrical compliance certificate. This business came recommended to us but I certainly wouldn't recommend them. They are not mindful that they require customers in order to stay in business, and treat them with total disrespect."

"Conveniently this heat pump buggered out 4mths after warranty expired, ok so I'll just give the people we purchased it off a call. They were great when they want you to buy a product but if the product needs fixing don't expect any call backs. Left five messages and was told on one occasion they would come and xyz date and were a no show.
While it worked the product was great but when you buy something a huge part of the service is after sales service.
Having to get another heat pump crowed (who we didn't buy the heat pump off to fix it) shocking service.

"We didn't shop around, so I can't evaluate price - but all seemed very fair, with fixed prices inclusive of standard installation. Excellent communication and an on-site evaluation of the correct sized unit for our home. The installation was great - on time, very tidy and efficient job done. Would happily recommend."

"The wife and I can t recommend Gareth and his team highly enough.Gareth took the time to talk to us about our heat pump requirements and what would best suit our house. In layman terms we could both understand, which was great. We also found Gareth s installation team to be very friendly and professional when they installed our heat pump.An they even cleaned up after them selves ! We would have no hesitation in recommending heat pump city to our friends and family, which we will be doing. Thanks again to Gareth and your team."
