"I initially phoned and spoke to the owner of the business Tim. I explained my Audi Sationwagon needed servicing, I also visited him at his premises as the steering on my vehicle made a whining sound when the car was first started. He test drove the car and told me he would attend to this issue during the service. I dropped the car in for its service. I had requested a loan car of which I received 1 extremely old and very dirty Audi stationwagon. I was applauded at the state of the car both inside and out. Not what one would expect from a reputable service centre.

During the day I was contacted by a younger mechanic working at Hibiscus Service Centre he informed me I needed to spend approx $2,200 on my car. I approved$1100.00 of work be carried out and told them I would consider the other work they insisted needed doing. I picked my car up the steering had not been altered or repaired in fact the car did not seem to be running any better.

Tim had offered to send an email to me outlining the previous work carried out this was never received when reminded of this once again he agreed to send and again it was never received.

I took my vehicle into the car clinic in Glenfield after a failed WOF. The bushes needed replacing due to cracking, Tim had not picked up on this. The car clini c picked up straight away on the problem with my steering and it was remedied.

Tim states he is a specialist in Europrean cars. I am questioning this as my experience was one of been promised a lot but let down badly.

I would not recommend Hibiscus Service Centre. I felt they were expensive and lacked the expertise to diagnosis the real issues with my vehicle.
