"Great Service, First call our garage door was not working (motor had given up the ghost) Metro Doors attended the next day and replaced motor unit. Now very quiet.
Second Call we decided to have the door insulated. Chris also did this work and once again great professional service. If I was to ever build Metro Garage doors would be my choice for a garage door. Thank you."

"Called and spoke to Chris over the phone and explained what needed to be done and there was some urgency. "Very happy with the job (replace two broken roller doors with a single garage door). Good work at a good price. The only minor issues was no communication after paying the deposit, and although it was nice they swept the garage after the job, it was a shame that multiple nails, screws etc. were swept onto the gravel drive (though I think I've found most of them now)."

"From four suppliers, we chose Metro to replace our garage door. Their doors are NZ made steel, offered an insulation option and had a shorter lead time than competitors.

Dealing with different people at Metro was seamless. Chris and Melanie are friendly and prompt with communication. I especially appreciated their patience when I delayed the install several times. The installers, Regan and Ian, arrived on time and their expertise was obvious.

The Merlin motor is super quiet, the door runs smoothly and looks so smart. So impressed with our new garage door, it's a huge upgrade from the old one!

I unreservedly recommend Metro Garage Doors. Their sales, support and install service was top class and I hope this business continues to thrive."

After contacting numerous garage door repair companies around Manukau Chris was the first one that got back to me within the next day or so. He assisted us by assessing the door and quoted for the repair due to impact damage for insurance. The door's manufacture and installation is within the quoted time of 3 weeks as well after initial deposit. The installers are very professional and installed the door adjusted it to help fitting my uneven floor to cover up the gaps. They've also answered all my questions and advised me about the warranty and services required in the future.
Good work guys see you at the next maintenance schedule !"

"We got Metro GARAGE DOORS to come out to our house to diagnose a problem and carry out a repair. They came at short notice and managed to do the full repair immediately and without any fuss at all. Whilst with us they also sorted out a problem with our garage door motor and after that they proceeded to fully service both garage doors. "What great service! Chris called to give us a quote, he was very helpful and friendly and emailed us with the price within 2 days and best price from 3 quotes.
Ian and a 2nd guy came 3 weeks later to install on 21st Feb '22, they did a fantastic job, fast and very tidy workers. Grant and I were very impressed with how smooth the installation went.

"These guys are SENSATIONAL!! Rang them about a problem I had and they gave me troubleshooting advice over the phone which was 100% accurate. I had been told by other installers I would need a new motor, had been given quotes in the several hundreds of dollars etc etc but it was actually a problem with the face plate. Best part about Metro is that you can TRUST them 100% and they put their customers first. They have my highest possible recommendation. When others all said they were already on holiday (Dec 23rd), Chris went out of his way to help."

"Metro were excellent to deal with. We had a garage door installed by them, which included organisation of an electrician & removal of old doors - no builder required. They gave a reasonable price indication by phone, which they kept to. They completed the job quickly - quoting to installation was all within 3 weeks. "First of all, it was so great when I called up, Chris gave a positive assurance for someone to come in on the same day in a short notice. And later on, his team mate Ian came in between his jobs to help fixing our door.
Ian explained to me what we need to watch out for, and how to take care of the garage door, it was truly wonderful that he shares his knowledge and was very patient. He managed to identify the issue, and fixed everything on the spot, and also did the service to check everything for us. I'm so impressed and will definitely recommend the company to anyone out there."

"Metro Garage Doors is professional in their work. The replaced our garage door and took away the old door. From the outside we couldn't see the difference at all. From the inside, the new door is very quiet. Generally an improvement from before.

The job was paid by the insurance company. So the cost wasn't a concern."

"My Sectional garage door motor had died. I disussed the options on the phone which all made good sense to me. I contacted the office twice , they told me they were very busy... after a week I rang again and they said they would come on Monday at 3pm. I arrived home from work Regan was here. After reviewing the situation we discussed the best option and the price was the same that the manager Shane had given me. The work was done in 30mins. Regan explained what he had done and how everything worked including the remotes. He gave me the booklet of instructions and said give them a ring if there were any problems. The Invoice was written and I paid on line. Regan did a great job and I would recommend him Shane and the helpful receptionist at the office to my friends and neighbours. "Shane\'s professionalism, integrity, quality of work and genuine desire to put the customer first is a throwback to the good old days. My tilting door hadn\'t worked for many years, then the dog rammed it so many times it came off its tracks and everything went skewy, PLUS the motor had gradually died over this time.
