"I found that Andy talks the talk but is unable to back this up with any reliability. As a few examples of his failure to provide services:
1. He is not familiar with council building requirements, for example where doors are acceptable in relation to stairs. I spent a lot of time on the council web site to get reliable answers to my questions.
2. He does not listen to his customers. After being asked six times to move a window as it would be behind the fridge, each time followed up in… writing this was not done. Also items that were agreed and settled would suddenly be changed for no reason.

3. Timelines were a very big issue, he agrees to any timeline and then fails to meet them repeatedly. Later his stated reason "They are your timelines and nothing to do me. I do not work to any timelines."

4. He does not apply common sense to any plans before presenting them. Example having a garage floor 25cm below the level of the driveway and ground level.

5. After agreeing to payment on completion, he will insist on early payment promising the job will be complete soon. PS His was the most expensive quote I received.

The list goes on. My advise is to steer clear."
Andy Mygind responded:
"We have been in the residential design field for over 30 years and have never rejected or dropped a job partially completed until we had the misfortune to work for Louanne. Ms Perry had a very shallow understanding of building structure and poor spatial ability yet continued to insist on items that were unworkable, impractical, structurally unsound, ill conceived and of no architectural merit. Louanne imposed impossible time frames without consultation and attempted to micro manage our staff. We completed preliminary and structural design and passed all work back to Louanne for her to continue with a designer of her own choice, as she proved impossible to work with. Ms Perry attempted to claim fees back through Small Claims Tribunal, but tribunal found in our favour to the tune of $4,650 and awarded Louanne $500 only as we abandoned the project. Louanne Perry’s feedback on this site regarding our staff is retaliatory only and does not represent anything but selective recall, ignorance of construction basics and bitterness. The review is not factual and is an attempt to smear our staff’s reputation. Our professionals and technicians are user friendly, approachable and competent. "
