"Highly recommend this car service. Being a car owner in Wellington for a few years I had come across some dodgy mechanics who would try to milk as much money from you as possible. This was never the case with Prop Auto. Rumen is an honest and reliable guy. He would always explain what's wrong, what needs to be done, how much it will cost and will give some advice for future. Had been their customer for a couple of years, never had any issues."

"I have used them a number of times and they not only know what they are doing but don't use any problem as an excuse to charge like a wounded bull. In one instance my son pulled the rear view mirror out of its socket, impossible for me to get it back in and I expected a significant bill but was charged only $40. He is doing some work now trying to fix a broken part or get a 2nd hand component rather than jump straight to the multi-thousand dollar cost of a new one. V impressed !"

"Rumen replaced my oil pump after it completely failed due to a bad cam belt job I had done elsewhere. He managed to fix the car very quickly with no notice and sourced a second hand oil pump for me to keep costs down. It was a bit of an emergency so a mechanic could easily have tried to exploit the situation but Rumen diagnosed the correct issue immediately and the job was very reasonably priced. I've since taken my car to Prop Auto for a WOF in April and was again impressed with the service… and advice. Thanks guys!"

"I was recommended to take my vehicle to Prop Auto by a friend for a full service and a warrant of fitness. I found the owner Rouman extremely friendly, helpful, informative and above all HONEST. During the day he rang me mentioning my brakepads were all but worn. He quoted me over the phone and asked my permission to go ahead with the work. I picked up vehicle, my tyres were shiny, he started it up and it sounded so much quite, he even cleaned my windows on the outside. What impressed me was… that he opened up my car boot and in a plastic bag he had my worn brake shoes to show me they were changed. FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Ladies out there, some of us can be vulnerable to tradesman. Take your car problems to Rouman, you won\'t find a more Experianced Tradesman and an Honest man than him. A"
