"Stay away from those cow boys; they were the developers for the next door neighbour. To reduce the cost of their project, they encroach into my property, dug a channel, divert storm water drainage inside my property and remove large amount of soil to use in their build. It took two years, lawyers and surveyors to get them to admit their wrong doing and roll back the changes. Now I am after them for the cost of this unlawful act."

"I engaged Land Partners who are part of the Property Partners Group to understand how I would go about subdividing my land as I didn’t know where to start or the costs associated with doing this type of project. The team set about working through some options and solutions to some challenging issues related to my site. They then were able to articulate where they saw some large financial obstacles which enabled me to make some well informed decisions which inturn saved me a lot of money in the long term so I would like to thank Ty and the team for the work they provided for me"

"Having looked into subdividing through council and contacting some consultants we quickly realized that we needed a company that could handle all of it. So we had Chris handling the subdivision for us in the Land team, he liaised with Michael in the Design team to get our project through. Ash our site manager during the build was excellent and good fun to work with assisting with onsite decisions and options. If and when we can afford to do this again we would be going back to the Property Partners Group as it was a good experience!"

"We hired the team to help us with a subdivision. The team took us through the whole process - our first time - which involved understanding our options, planning permission with the new unitary plan options and then completed the subdivision with us. While this was happening, they drew up some plans which we were really happy with as it suited our location and the street scape. I really enjoyed working with the architects although I might have driven them a wee bit mad with my ideas and changes but we all got through this and i am surprised to say we actually enjoyed the process. At times it was slow going, but looking back it was worth it. Especially having the team from Property Partners various divisions coordinating things at their end so the process dovetailed form planning and surveying the section off right through to the Architects working with in-house build team. Steve was great to deal with when I needed things to happen. All in all we are delighted with our investment property and will definitely do this again with Property Partners."

"My wife and I engaged Property Partners to design and build our new home. Steve, Mark and the team did a fantastic job. They’re great listeners and nailed the design concept first time. We now understand why our friends said building a house is a challenging adventure. We really love our new home and highly recommend these guys, design, quality, communication second to none! Thanks, Geoff & Sue

"Keep that business at arm's length, and if you can find a barge-pole, use that too.

Happy to share my story but not wasting time writing a long negative review for that bunch.

If you are thinking of using any of the Whatever Partners (Land Partners, Design Partners, Build Partners or Property Partners) and wish to know more, I can be contacted at 022 656 69 40. I will happily tell you why you should stay clear.

"These guys go by a few names Build Partners , Property Partners , Land Partners , Design Partners but essentially the same ownership.
Can\'t give a final rating as work (house build) still not finished at this stage but more than happy to provide some insight as to how it has gone over the last 21 months if you give me a call. Paul 0275797940
Update - 5 months post occupation, these guys have taken the money and gone to ground, slow to respond if at all and no sign of them rectifying the minor defects some of which were known preoccupation.

"Property Partners helped me source a sub divisible property in Auckland, of which had an existing home on it. Once we found the right property they took care of the whole process of subdivision. After the sub division was complete they organised renovating the existing home and landscaping the property. I live in Nelson so was concerned about the geographic challenges of such a project. From my point of view the whole project was seamless. I only visited the property once, just after I had bought it. The section sold, not long after that the house sold. All of this from Nelson with one initial visit. Property Partners did an amazing job of fulfilling the project and kept me in the loop the whole way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and look forward to using them again. Thanks guys."

"My wife and I first approached property partners in june 2011 when we had seen a section that we liked the look of and were interested in buying and building a house on. We spoke to many building companies but none could offer what property partners could in terms of great design, value for money and timliness. They worked closely with us to create the perfect design. They took care of everything from day one. It was an effortless process from start to finish , we had the oportunity to have input on as much or a little as we wanted and everything came in on budget and time. We love our house and truely beleive that without property partners we would not have got such a great outcome. we would highly recommend them to anyone , Kurt and Helene"

"My husband and I have been dealing with Property Partners since April 2013. We initially enquired we them about subdividing our section and builing a house out the back on the new subdivided section. We agreed to go ahead with them and paid them $15k to get all the initial reports done this being the Geotech report, a topographical survey (which they charged us $4500) and arborist report and first initial council meeting.
We were told by Lyle on several occasions that we could sign up for the subdivide and then decide on the build. We were also told that we would be able to get other builders to quote on the build to make sure that they were doing the best job possible and they would look over this to (in Lyles works) "make sure that we're comparing apples with apples" also that if they were to expensive then they would be "happy to sharpen their pencil". They told us in order for the arborist to sign off on the possible removal of two Kauri trees that we would need to get full plans and drawings done. However we were then told that although we would have to pay for these they would remain the property of Property partners and we would now need to sign up fully for the subdivide and build. We have been contacting and emailing property partners from the 6th of December for a refund on the arborist report and council meating and we never got these done and have not had any money refunded. We have been going around in circles and they keep passing the buck. I would not reccommend this company to anyone. They are like second hand car sales people to deal with who overcharge and will say anything to get you signed up.
