"Grant and Anton recently completed some minor alterations to a bedroom for us, installing a beam and removing a partial wall to open up the space. As they previously completed a larger job for us last year building and project managing the creation of two new bathrooms and opening up the living area, I knew the job would be completed in good time and the finish excellent. I like it how they repurpose timbers if they can and have a good aesthetic for the detailing in older houses. Grant also has… a dependable team of quality sub trades he works with regularly. The room now looks great and I’m already thinking of the next job I can get Grant and Anton around to do."

"Rang Grant after storm damage and he came around urgently to storm proof the property until he commenced the job a week later. Grant and his assistant fixed the damage and rectified other rotten timbers on a hundred year old villa. He sourced a second hand window for a reasonable price and they did a great job repairing the building in a efficient and timely manner. Pricing seemed fair as well. Have already recommended him to a friend in Mt Eden who is now using Grant for a bigger repair job.… Highly recommend Grant."

Grant talks no nonsense common sense and gave good advice when a couple of issues came up during the construction of a pergola running the length of my house.
The weather was turning nasty so he put in some long hours and worked quickly to get a very nice job done.
Tidied up at the end of each day, left the site looking great."

"We had a bathroom renovation done. The work was completed to a very good standard, on time, on budget. This ought to be what you'd expect, but you know it's unusual.
What really distinguishes Grant from other people we've used is that he has an excellent team of tradespeople who do good work, and turn up when they say they will. He also makes sure that he's quite sure of what you want doing. He's also a thoroughly decent person to have around your house.
I recommend him without… reservations."

"Grant has helped us a couple if times with smaller projects during the year. Mid-year he installed a wall with a proper room door. This wall is separating the double garage into 2 units. Brilliant! At the end of the year he build an awesome deck extention with a little landing as well as a new trellis. Grant has been consistently professional, very friendly, reliable and trustworthy. "This is the third time I've used Grant. He's great. I took on the task of project managing my kitchen renovation which was pretty much gutted and had a few odd things going on. He worked in with my timings, turned up when he said he would, did his bit and also provided valuable advice that enabled me to line up the other tradies at the right time. "Grant has been our only go to guy for renovations on our bathroom and bedroom (last year) and now is working on our kitchen/living room extension. Personable and friendly and loves to sing a tune while he works. We cannot be grateful enough to have this man change our house into a liveable and functional home as we look to change the house usability from where the kids have grown up to something more for my aging mother to be comfortable as she approaches retirement.

"Superb work! Grant's everything you'd hope for, sensible costs, quick thoughtful solutions to knotty problems, great craftmanship, arrives at the time he said he would, and does what he said he would.
So far he's replaced a bath and shower liner, put on a new polycarbonate pergola roof that weathered the storm with aplomb, and is now doing all sorts of fiddly little odds and sods that need precision - planing huge stuck french doors, resetting cupboard door hinges etc etc .
He's also… recommended good subbies.

Just don't book him out next time I call on him!"
