    "We originally contacted Simply Bathrooms to arrange complete renovation of our small bathroom in November 2013. We eventually received and accepted their quote and paid a substantial deposit in early February 2014, delayed because the quote was sent to the wrong address. Work was booked in to start in March. We experienced endless delays, misleading communication, an extremely unpleasant experience with Bespoke Architecture (Simply Bathroom's agent for consent process) - we had to chase up our consent with the city council ourselves only to discover it had never been lodged, Bespoke had 'forgotten' it. This was followed with various versions of when the consent did finally go in and yet more promises of start dates. These came and went until we finally cancelled our contract with them in July 2014. We were then informed we owed them more money for product which could not be returned without incurring large 're-stocking' fees so we agreed to take the product rather than throw more money away. Again, more delays as we waited for product to arrive, even though it had supposedly all been in stock except the bath. These were eventually delivered, at no cost to us, less the vanity which never arrived. Had they started the job at either of the promised dates there would obviously have been another lengthy delay while we waited on the vanity, which hadn't been ordered when it was originally supposed to have been. At the end of months of frustration, disappointment, repeatedly supplying the same information and sorely tried patience we have a much diminished bank account, bathroom products sitting in a garage and a complete loss of trust. The office staff at Simply Bathrooms were generally pleasant to deal with, just completely lacking in their processes and the left-hand did not appear to know what the right-hand was doing (or not doing). If you see any indication that Simply Bathrooms are not particularly interested in your job then I would run a mile the other way - and I would most certainly stay well clear of their agent for consent process."

    "The bathroom renovation by Simply Bathrooms and Stuart Hendry was a nightmare! They did not get required building consents. They charged me almost 3 times the original quote (and there were no extras!). They did charge me to repair work that they did wrong. They double charged me for the same work on two different invoices. They showed up sporadically and often only worked a few hours in a week. They never told me when they would be here to work. The job was promised to be finished March 29 but was not finished until July. There are still problems with the job that I am trying to sort out. And now they have taken me to disputes tribunal because I will not pay for the shoddy work."
