"Highly recommended. Kyle organized the shift with three guys present on the day. The guys were brilliant. Careful hard working and pleasant to have in our home. We didn’t have any breakages or damaged. This is the second time we have used Smart express - originally when they were tiger transport - and they have been perfect both times. "Brett and Sam moved a van load of furniture for us from Auckland to Whangamata. Brilliant, efficient and very friendly service. Even turned round and came back for the BBQ we had forgotten to put in. No problem to them whatsoever. Would highly recommend this company and we were very impressed. Thank you."

We removed two houses full of staging furniture etc on a very wet day and Allen & Rick did a stirling job, quick & careful & cheerful. Nothing got wet!! Excellent job Lads!

"Yesterday Chris and Eiken took on a tough commercial job, no driving just heavy lifting. Paying by the hour they finished in record time, even refusing offer to take a break. Awesome job, fast and friendly. No hesitation to recommend these guys. Will definitely use Smart Express again. "

"I booked a move from a city apartment on the 2nd floor with only stairs to access, no elevator. I informed Smart Express of this at the time of booking, over the phone and via email.
On the day of the move, the movers would not stop complaining about the steps. A couple of hours in, I receive a call from head office saying the workers feel they should get more money for accommodating the number of stairs, and asking if I would pay more. When I declined, the movers became even more… unprofessional, and went extremely slowly.

There is nothing special about the number of stairs in the apartment block and I would expect professional movers to act professionally. I would not expect head office to entertain such a request from the workers either.

The movers also told me that I was on the 3rd floor as there were a few steps leading up to the porch/lobby. So congratulations New Zealand, if you have steps at your entrance you now can sell your home as having an extra storey!"

"Matthew & Ishan are brothers & owner operators with an administrative team in the office.
The communication from the team was outstanding at all stages & the pricing was fair. On the day Matthew was punctual, flexible & trustworthy delivering my item in the most efficient way. He was also happy to spend time discussing & quoting a possible future job with me. I have no compunction recommending these guys!

"The guys did a really good job everything arrived undamaged, but I think if they hadn't been on their cell phones so much it would have gotten finished earlier. Just thankful I wasn't paying by the hour. "

"Very dissatisfied with the service. The boxes were stacked incorrectly in the storage unit and fell on the door. I was lucky that I managed to hold the door while opening the unit and phone for help. Clearly inexperienced movers. I made a complaint on the phone which was received graciously and an apology was offered. They were supposed to investigate the issue and write to me. I have not heard back from the company. I do not recommend this company "

"What an awesome experience, first time using a moving and delivery service. What can I say they were amazing, no hassels, communication was spot on and the lovely 2 Men Suri and Karan did a marvellous job. Definitely recommend this company to anyone and will use them again in the near future.

"Fantastic service. Very quickly and efficient. Jama and Jacob did the move. They are very polite and professional. They moved in our bed from the window, when the stairs to the second floor were a bit narrow. All our antique wood furniture and our house were been greatly cared during the move. Thanks guys. The people I got quotes from over the phone were very helpful, they sent through information promptly, the rates were reasonable, and they got in touch to confirm the job both the day before and to give a progress update as to arrival times. "I would like to recommend the services of these three gentleman to anyone considering moving. The were absolutely fantastic. No mucking around, showed total regard for our property, no breakages/scratches, nothing was to difficult even though we lived up a very very steep driveway and the house was two storied. The move was carried out in a very timely manner. Would not hesitate in using this team in the future and would reccomend them to anyone. We were kept right up to date with the time… they were due and arrived 15mins before the said time. Very very good communiction. I have used several in the past and confidently say this company has outshone all others."
