    "BEST freight company in NZ we have used you when you were streamline freight & we use you now as StraitNZ - You charge a fair price & delivery times from south island to Auckland were very timely. We also send freight from rural Auckland all over the country & goods always arrive within a day or so of target.....sometimes earlier sometimes next day. Understanding that a freight company covers 100's- 1000's of kms & sometimes things happen which delay goods. We understand this side of freight business. We have couriers in Auckland that take 2-3 days to deliver in Auckland, so 48 hours Christchurch to Auckland is really good. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK StraitNZ. Cheers Richard"

    "Item was supposed to be picked up on Tuesday 28th Sept. They didn't turn up until the following week. The track and trace number never worked on their website, no explanation when I called them. I had to continually call them to get updates on where my freight was. The delivery t my address was miss-managed. I have told the company that supplied the item that I will find someone else if they ever use this freight company again."

    "If you have t used before, I suggest you avoid like the plague.
    We had a consignment of scientific and analytical instruments that was picked up from, Timaru somewhere between 26th Jan and 1st Feb and still hasn’t been located.
    It seems to have been lost somewhere in Chch although Streamline haven’t got a clue where it may be.
    It is now well in to March and they have still not located it.
    Even worse we have been hung up on a number of times, told our account doesn’t exist and emailed Murray C who looks after claims only to have had no reply. We have shipped equipment with this crowd before but you never really know the strength and credibility of an organisation until something goes wrong.

    "A substantial item shipped from Auckland by this company was picked up and tracked into its Auckland transit point and that was the last heard of it. On enquiry the sender was promised delivery in the Bay of Islands would be made 9 days after pick up which was itself ridiculously slow but it anyway never happened with no communication. Finally it reported it lost of further sender enquiry blaming the Christmas rush although it was sent in January. I would never use this company."

    "We are a New Plymouth firm. I placed my order with an Auckland firm and they assured me the item had been picked up on 27th. Naturally I expected it to turn up on 28th. Nothing, so rang the supplier - yes, it was picked up by Streamline. I asked my supplier for tracking details. They contacted Streamline and got nothing. I rang the local agents and they did not have it in their system. I spent hours on the 28th and 29th looking for my item. I e-mailed Streamline late afternoon on 29th. No reply. Here we are on the 30th. No goods, No reply. Streamline is just a sick joke. I have told my supplier to never use Streamline again for anything I order. No exceptions. The end-user customer is extremely upset with us."

    "Streamline is the understatement of the year, how are these people in business??
    Dont answer phones, dont reply to email, lost my spa pool cover not exactly a small item! I didnt choose this company they are obviously cheap and very nasty. Use at your peril.

    "picked up late from Auckland, promised delivery on thursday in Timaru, no communication to advise otherwise. At 3pm tried ringing to find out they are closed, tack and trace via Auckland says the pallet arrived ChCh at 5am today. Will probably get it on tuesday some time.......useless for the two factories needing this stuff to produce an export order for sending out on wednesday first thing. Never use them,,,,,, nobody in charg, n communication worst I've encountered anywhere in the world. "

    "Terrible business!! Never again. Got a rather large package sent from Auckland to Wellington a week ago today and still haven't received it. Have rung 10 times finally this last time managed to get a girl who admitted it wasn't showing in their system as "received" in Wellington and that it was lost. Sent multiple emails prior to this last phone call and got absolutely no reply. Every other phone call was a waste of time and ended up getting put on "hold" which would end in a different person picking up my call and having to start all over again.

    When the freight cost more than the item usually I would expect great service. This company is a waste of time!

    "f you'll take my advice, NEVER use Streamline Freight again. They are TERRIBLE.

    It took them nearly a week to even get my package to me. Then, their truck wouldn't fit down my driveway, so they didn't deliver it after all. But I had no knowledge of this, because they didn't leave a slip in my letterbox to let me know, and asking to arrange delivery. They didn't contact me at all. They just took the package back to their depot.

    I finally emailed them to ask where it was, because their website has no track & trace facility (in fact, their website is useless). It took them over a day to reply to my email. Then they promised to deliver by van that evening.

    Well, evening came and went, and my package was not delivered.

    No phone call. No email. Nothing. Just non-delivery (again).

    I emailed them the next day to politely but firmly express my lack of satisfaction. Their reply didn't even acknowledge my complaint, let alone offer an apology. Just a promise that they had contacted the depot and would let me know when they heard back.

    Well, no surprise, I never heard back. I had to chase them again. When I did so, I asked for the phone number of the depot, and called them myself to organize delivery, since the head office obviously wasn't competent enough to do so. I love doing other people's jobs for them. The depot promised to arrange delivery with the courier and call me back to let me know.

    No call back.

    Then, later that day, without prior notice, the courier turned up with my package. Obviously I'm grateful that it finally got here, but I was out most of the day, so it's pure luck that they even caught me at home without arranging it in advance, which they could easily have done and indeed had promised to do!

    If I hadn't been home, I would have had to go through the whole run-around again, since the package required a signature!

    Finally, to add injury to insult, the contents of the package had a dent. The courier had literally smashed it into something so hard that it blew a hole through two thick layers of cardboard and put a dent in the metal (I hate to think what would have happened if the sender had not packed it so well). By this time I was too over it to even say anything. It's just cosmetic, and it can't be seen.

    In summary, avoid this courier at all costs.

    "DO NOT USE THESE COURIERS. We have a blind business and have been sending out blinds nationwide with another courier company. Streamline approached us and offered us what seemed like very good rates. They assured us that their service was excellent and the blinds would arrive on time and in one piece.

    What a joke! We have never had freight handled so badly. We had 3 separate instances where the STEEL headrails were kicked in and dented, slats were broken and we had to replace the blinds.

    When we lodged a claim through their claims department we were told it was out fault for not packing it properly. UNBELIEVEABLE! 30 years we've been in business and we've always wrapped them in bubble wrap and put cardboard wrapping over that. NEVER in 20 years of sending blinds nationwide have we had the problems we had with this courier company in 1 month.

    It's not so much that the problems / damage occured (although it is a major issue and clearly they're way to rough with the freight they're moving) it's the fact that they wouldn't accept responsibility for it and tried to put the blame on us. Appalling really.

    Anyway, be warned - DON'T USE THEM if you want your packages to arrive unharmed!
