Replaced all 36 of my home's halogen bulbs with low consumption LED bulbs most recently replaced a faulty power point. A good communicator, my shed on his advice is ready for solar AND my new electric car. (when I get it). Tony takes great pride and care in his work and completed all the jobs in a timely manner with no inconvenience."

"Called Tony to look at my bathroom ventilator. Advised me that it was working ok, no need to replace, just needed a cleanup which he did thoroughly. Then fixed a ventilator for another bathroom. Advised me what was best for the bathroom. Did a good job, cleaned up after. Also did my security light. He does a thorough job and gives good advice. He came back the next day when I asked him to adjust the light. Will use him again and will recommend anytime."

"We needed a 15Amp socket installed and more lighting for our space. Tony helped advice us on the lighting options and where to best install the socket. Very professional. Very helpful and gave great advice as to what is the best solution to our problem. Quoted us on the spot and got the job done on the same day. Very clean too, didn't leave any mess behind. "Great job done again by Tony which included outside plug for spa installed, three inside lights and 2 outdoor sensor lights. Our house is challenging with a difficult switchboard and short wiring etc but Tony persevered with great results. Would thoroughly recommend to all. "

"Tony is both an excellent electrician and a top bloke generally. We've had him come round to two separate properties to take care of all our electrical needs. Our current house in particular is over 50 years old and the original electrical set-up has been more or less completely untouched since then. Using his experience Tony managed to get everything into working order - I would recommend him to anyone."

"Tony is a true kiwi handyman. He came to my place and install a heated towel rail and a dimmer switch and few downlights. He loves and respects what he is doing. When part of the project didn't go as per the plan, he recovered fast and came with a backup. Overall, I am happy with the project outcome. I will be using Tony again and recommend him to others."

"It must've been 9 years ago that I first had Tony in to check the wiring in my do-er uppers. Thank goodness I did because the wiring and earth in one of them was particularly dodgy and he was able to make good the mess made by various previous tenants. Because he's so thorough in his work, he arrives when he says he will, he does the job swiftly and efficiently and is most pleasant to deal with, I've had him back on various occasions since as needed. "Tony was amazing. What started off as a simple job (or so I thought) became a major undertaking. Because of the age of the house, and the fact that no maintenance had been done for a long time, Tony thought it wise to do a thorough check, and just as well he did! Among other problems, he discovered the hot water cylinder wasn't earthed, and as corrosion had set in, I could have been electrocuted! I have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this gentleman if you want a truly professional job… done."

"Very helpful in taking out old wall oven and installing in New Wall Oven. Did not fit properly and went and got a new board for the oven to sit on and did not charge us for his labour going that extra mile to get the new board. "When I was renovating my investment property, I called Tony of TAB Electrical to install a range hood and an extractor fan / light in the bathroom. Not only did he do a brilliant job of these installations but he also ensured that all 3 point plugs in the house and the house itself was properly earthed.
There was a collection of strange wires installed by previous tenants. Tony investigated what each one was and removed those that were unnecessary.
As the stove wasn't working properly, I… thought I would have to buy a new one. I didn't as Tony was able to fix and thoroughly check the workings of the stove for which I am particularly grateful.

Out in the garage, he replaced fluorescent tubes removed by dodgy tenants and made sure that the wiring was safe and up to standard.

Thanks to his efforts, I am able to rest assured that my rental property is completely safe.

I am so impressed by the standard of Tony's work and the particularly thorough and meticulous manner in which he carried out the work at my investment property that I have passed his business card to various friends, fellow landladies and my letting agent, and I have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending him to potential future customers."
