Firstly the quality of the job they did was exceptional. I can't find fault at any level. I've had so many compliments on my newly painted house that I've lost count.
Secondly Richard was a fantastic communicator. He was timely, and keep me updated on plans and any necessary changes to plans which was really helpful as an occupant as it allowed me to plan around what was going on.
Thirdly, Richard managed all the required activities - such as scheduling scaffolding, electricians as well as dealing with any hiccups (on the house). The project management side of the job was handled brilliantly.

"Richard and his awesome team painted the exterior of our two homes in Devonport in late 2022.

From the quality of their workmanship to the thorough daily clean ups, nothing was too much trouble.

We have had lots of really nice comments on how the place is looking now and even though Covid delayed the job by 6 months it was definitely worth the wait.

"The House Painting Company painted our 2 story, a-frame house, on a very narrow section. The quote was very reasonable, included the cost of scaffolding, which Richard arranged thus saving me an extra step. Other higher quotes did not include those features. Work was done March 2020, completed on time as promised with an extra effort made to fit in with our expected (but COVID-19 cancelled, overseas travel). We are happy with the results, found the work men polite & friendly. Very satisfied with this company & happy to highly recommend them to others."

"Richard and the team took our tired cottage in historical Devonport and turned it back into the jewel it was meant to be. Two sides of the house were stripped back to bare boards and the rest sanded. Then it was painted and looks almost as good as new. He is a great communicator, does a quality job and goes the extra mile to make things run seamlessly - even bringing in his own builder to replace some of the rotten wood. He was not the cheapest that we got a quote for, but we got a quality finish (not like some of the less salubrious quotes we had) and could trust him completely. We would definitely use him and his team again."

"Richard and his small team of trusted painters at The House Painting Company Ltd come 100% recommended by me. In April 2018 they repainted the interior of my 2 bedroom unit on the North Shore and they did an excellent professional job for a very fair price. So when it was time to repaint the exterior in Dec 2018 I had no hesitation but to contact Richard again. I received the same top level service at a very good price and the unit looks brand new inside and out now! As I live out of town Richard met me to walk and talk me through the exterior repaint after he'd finished the job, and it was clear he'd gone the extra mile to ensure a top quality job was done. "From the outset ,Richard's service was exemplary.He clearly knew what he was doing and the suggestions he offered proved to be spot on.The quotation was very reasonable indeed and the entire job was handled in such a way that we hardly noticed that the team were there.His team work fast and efficiently,with minimal fuss and dedication.They reinstated wall hooks etc which was appreciated. "Totally amazing and professional Job. Looks better than the paint job on my Car. Richard and his team were totally professional right from the Quote through to the final cleanup. They totally stripped back the botched up mess that last so called professional painter left which was peeling off everywhere 4 years later. Richard also noticed that 3 window frames needed repair and organised a builder to repair these. Don't bother to use anyone else would be my advice."

"Great job, nice guys, polite, funny, closed the gates for the dogs, sanded, prepped, filled etc really well. It all looks fresh and good.
We had all the trims/windows etc done to really freshen the place up and we\'re very happy.
They not only made sure the dogs didn\'t get out but they also tied back and covered all the plants.... exactly what you want."
