"I recently moved from Wellington to Auckland, having been in Wellington most of my life. My main requirement, given I work from home full time, was having the Internet up and running after a big move, with wired internet and overall WiFi coverage for both me and the kids (hey, if they can't watch netflix, things get chaotic..)

Having no experience in Auckland specifically, I contacted TopMark to see if they could fit me in, at very short notice, to make sure the house was wired up and working after a big move so that I could get back to work with no downtime. They were able to accommodate me which was excellent.

I cannot describe how impressed I was with their service, their attention to detail, their ingenuity, and their workmanship. By far, the best electrical contractor I have used.

They turned up on time. They did everything that we had discussed prior, as well as being more than happy to accommodate things that came up as we had just moved to a new house and were in the process of discovering things. All of the work they did was to a very high standard, they showed initiative and they were incredibly professional and friendly throughout the process.

I have no hesitation in recommending them for electrical work and network installation. Absolutely hit the Top Mark in my book. I don't want to get them back, because I don't want to find more things I need to sort out, but if needs must I will happily get them back without hesitation.

I recently had our house’s original (50 year old!) switchboard upgraded - this isn’t the first time I’ve used TopMark but it would have to be the biggest job they’ve done at the house so far. As always, the team were awesome - from Sarah who fired through a quote for the job and worked her magic to confirm a time slot that would work when the latest lockdown lifted. to Cam who turned up on time and made sure to talk through each step of the upgrade including the fact that the house would be without power for several hours and reassured me that the job would be completed before food in the freezer would start to thaw! True to his word, Cam got everything up and running and checked off by the inspector with time to spare - an added bonus he left his workspace clear and tidy - much appreciated! So, really I have no hesitation giving 5 stars to TopMark - From the proud owner of shiny new (and much, much safer!) switchboard!"

"We decided to renovate our lifestyle property in Kumeu after renting it out for several years. I had a long list of jobs to do - retrofit over 125 halogen lights in the house to LED, put in new sockets, install all new path lighting, security lights for the barn and house, new electric fence charging system and much more -- and to work in with a range of tradesmen such as painters, plumbers, builders and landscapers! Mark and his team of Nathaniel, Dan and Ed were always on site on time and nothing was a hassle. They divided up the work well, followed up on orders for lights and other items, made sure we were happy with all the results and kept us informed the whole time. "Contacted these guys in a panic on Tuesday after-hours (along with 2 other companies) as the power + lights to most of our downstairs was off due to our RCD constantly tripping. An hour later, Mark had texted to say they could come round in the morning - music to my ears! They rang me at 8am the next day + were here by 9am. The guys were friendly, helpful, very professional + had everything fixed in no time. They were also happy to answer all the questions my inquisitive 3 + 5 year old had for them! "Superb service. I emailed at 7:30am on a Friday with little hope that any electrician would be able to help us at such short notice. By 8:30am Mark had called to say one of the team would be around between 12-1pm. Brilliant. It gets better. Royce called at 10am to say they were on their way. The job was done in a timely manner, site cleared away and good advice given. Highly recommend this company. They know how to do business and customer service!"

"Turned up on time to give a quaote for 3 more security lights at house. Later got an email showing work hours (no $), had to ask for $ price. Did the job on the day and time agreed. I supplied the lights. But that night one light did not work. Mark came back a few days alter, warning me that I will be billed for time if the light is at fault, etc. He fixed the light, it was either not correctly wired or the sensor not switched on full (as light is 4 m above footpath). Mark decided I was at fault, because I had agreed aim of the lights and sensor, so billed me another $100 or so. I have not paid the extra bill. They have to guarantee their work under Consumer Guarantees Act and that act covers the situation that happened.
Avoid this firm. They are very fast with new bills and multiple emailed threats to send debt collectors for what should a willingness to make things work when they did not work first time."
