"Ross and his team completed two bathroom rennovations and supported a kitchen renovation in our 3 bedroom 1990's cedar home in 203/2024. Ross and his team did an excellent job. Great consultation with lots of suggestions on what was feasible. His team are super efficient, polite and get the job done with little fuss or mess. The workmanship is excellent too. We are super happy with everything. As with every job, there were unexpected challenges with finding thigns behind walls etc and we were able to work through these with no issues! Ross also has excellent discounts with suppliers so were able to pick much better quality products that I thought we could with our budget. Ross was easy to get hold off and would was super patient answering so pretty basic building questions since we didn't use a desginer for the bathrooms. We couldn't recommend Ross and his team for any rennovation. We wil be back when we move onto the next phase :)."

"Ross and the team absolutely nailed* the partial renovation of my 1960s home in Titirangi. They showed professionalism, skill, and competence from the initial contact through to completion, and I'm thrilled with the result.

I'm from a family of builders so I'm fussy about work being done right, but I had no concerns at all with THR. Doing a top quality job is just what they do. Paul and Ben were a great team: both turned up on time every day, had great communication, and were respectful of our home and neighbours. Working on an older house always throws up unexpected problems, but the team had the experience to fix those issues with ease. When we encountered the inevitable issues with suppliers and the council, the THR team had no problem changing their timeline and working on other aspects of the job while my architect, engineer, and council inspectors fought it out.

"We hired Ross and his team to do a rennovation of our bedroom and dining, and to add two new bathrooms. It was not a huge job but was qute fiddly with lots of things to get right, working with an older state house that was not always straight. First thing is that it was very easy working with everyone on the team, from estimates, through to sub contractors, and the builders themselves. We were living in the house at the same time, and Ben and Paul were always on time, respectful of our home, and worked hard. The whole team were amazing in the work that they put into the house, and I felt like they wanted to do a job that made them proud as well as us as clients happy. We had loads of great discussions and advice on options to solve things, and everyone worked openly to get a great solution. The outcome has been better than what we imagined at a very transparent price. I'd hire Ross and his team any day in the future. Thanks to all the team."

"Ross completed remedial works to 9 units of our body corporate. The job required removing joinery, recladding shiplap, replacing balustrades, waterproofing decks, and then repainting. The joinery was either reinserted or replaced which Ross organised. We were pleased with the work his team did, along with the sub contractors he had to organise for parts of the job such as painting.
I think the Body Corporate received fair value from Ross."

"We wanted to convert a storage space under our house into a play room. Ross and his team were recommended to us by a family friend who had used him. Ross helped us through the design process and his team did an excellent job of digging out and building the new room.

They kept to schedule and budget, dealt with the council, and stayed flexible when the inevitable problems that come with renovating an existing house cropped up.

Once that renovation was done we asked them back to help redo some drainage and waterproofing in a different part of the house and to build us a new patio and retaining wall.

All in all they were excellent and I would highly recommend them."

"Ross acted promptly and visited my location to see what repairs I needed to have done on my composite decking. This work was carried out very satisfactorily and efficiently by one of the tradesmen who works for Ross.

"Ross and team did some amazing work around our house. The work has transformed how we utilise our home and couldn't be happier.

Ross was a great manager with the work undertaken including a lot of groundworks, reformatting indoor spaces, outdoor stairs, and most important find a nice safe lowered space for our SwimSpa to sit in with an awesome deck around it With so all sorts of trades coming and going, Ross had it all sorted.

On top of this Ross was unflappable. With COVID lockdowns and associated restrictions being thrown at the team he had all the pieces of the outstanding puzzle sorted and restructured to deal with it all while working as they could.

Kyle as our foreman, and all the guys in the team were a great bunch, polite, happy to have a joke but no nonsense when getting work done.

"Ross and his team recently completed a full bathroom and partial kitchen renovation for us. They also built and installed a large bookcase, lowered a carport and completed a few other extras. Ross project managed the entire thing and made the whole process stress free, from demo right through to completion. He contributed design ideas and problem-solved when we got stuck.

"Before exterior of house was to be painted, much of wood work needed to be done. Ross identified and itemised a list of "off jobs" required to be done. His design skills for replacing a rotten bifold garage door (no longer required) were exceptional. Communication throughout the whole process was excellent. The THR team - Kyle, Zak et al, were prompt, polite, well-mannered, outstanding builders; obvious they take so much pride in their work. Thank you Ross - a super job well done. "Ross and his team have renovated the entire ground floor of my home, in addition they did the family bathroom and are now onto the en-suite. They were also great at taking care of the smaller jobs at same time eg shelves in cupboard, benches in laundry as affordable as they could. "I really liked the work that Ross did on a neighbours place - kitchen lounge and bathroom renovation. So I asked her for Ross's contact details, and I'm pleased I did. Ross and his team did a fantastic job on my bathroom renovation. I liked the initial meeting with Ross when we discussed what needed to be done. Ross listened to my ideas and explained what might be options for me, nice to get his point of view. Then when the work started communication was great, I always knew what was going to happen and when. Plus it was a real bonus when they ran out of the tiles I'd provided, and Ross picked up more so the tilers could finish their work. It saved me having to get time off work to buy them, and avoided delays on the tiling work. I love the new bathroom and have had heaps of comments about how nice it is, which is nice to hear."

"In February I started looking for someone to undertake a full renovation of my dated 1950s bathroom. Ross and team responded promptly to my enquiry and Juan was out with his team to look at the job within days.

The room was stripped back to the joists and framing, a window moved and exterior cladding replaced. I was consulted about the replacement of the floor, ceiling and wet walls installation and Ross helped me with advice about fixtures and fittings. They took complete care of co-ordinating construction, plastering, painting, tiling, electrical and plumbing aspects of the job and kept me informed about when tradesmen would be on site and the scheduling of the job.

The job was finished prmoptly and the net effect is a light, clean and modern room with underfloor heating, lighting, heated towel rail and extractor fan. It is a thing of beauty, thanks Juan and the rest of the team!"

"Great service, I recommend to anyone undertaking a similar renovation ($250K plus). From the very start Ross and team worked with us and listened to what we wanted. Any changes we wanted were discussed and signed off. The site was always clean and tidy when we returned home, and the workman were very polite. We got regular updates as to spend, timeframes and a work plan that was adhered too.
Ross (the owner) was great to deal with. I recommend you contact them to discuss your home renovation needs."
