45%"Purchased 5x tyres in August 2017 from tyreshoponline, 2x tyres cracked within 6 months/6,000kms in the centre of casing. Staff member at tyreshoponline was initially helpful, saying they looked like a claim, and proceeded to become rude via email, accusing me of running the tyres on low pressure and then inflating before taking pictures of their pressure, then offering to sell replacement tyres at cost (which I later found out were above his cost) rather than replace the factory flawed tyres.… Said I needed to ship all tyres back to Auckland (from Wellington) if I wanted to attempt a warranty claim, and that if claim succeed I would be refunded minus any wear and tear - saying it was the minimum he had to do when working within the Consumer Guarantees Act. I contacted my local vehicle workshop who contacted the importer on my behalf, who in turn overnight freighted replacement tyres to be swapped over, and the flawed tyres inspected by the rep in Wellington (who TyreShopOnline said did not exist, thus needing to send them to Auckland). My local vehicle workshop has been advised from the importer that the tyres are a 100% claim and that is the end of it. Terrible after sales experience with TypeShopOnline after an initially positive first purchase."Tracey and Steve Bell responded:"A lot of this is simply untrue, and TyreShopOnline take great care to work with reputable suppliers who fully back their products. Unfortunately, in this situation, our supplier's rep was eager to please a possible new retailer and did not follow the usual procedures (in fact did no investigation whatsoever!) inadvertently causing this bad review. He has been severely reprimanded by the supplier who has apologised to us for this situation. We needed the tyres returned to assess cause of cracking, and followed the consumer act guidelines on how to do this. The customer was asking for all 5 tyres to be replaced without any reasonable process - he had been driving on them at low pressures, and said so himself initially. When I said this was most likely the cause of all his tyres cracking, he suddenly had proof he had been driving at exactly the right pressure and claimed he was supplied with a 'faulty batch' of tyres. It is highly unlikely that all tyres would fail due to a manufacturer's fault and no other claims have occurred from this container load. But I can this was a breeze, after speaking with Steve about what tyre would suite my vehicle, then ordering it, promptly turning up 1 day later at specified address, and then booking in to get tyres change was easy, all for a 3rd less of the price I would have paid going into a standard tyre shop.

98%"I purchased a full set of the Zetum Sulus's (Khumu's produced in China) in July. I'm used to buying performance tyres but having two children has restricted my budget, the tyres not only perform well but are unbelievable value for money.
The tyres are comparable to a old set of Fomula 901's I had on my STI WRX and I would go as far as saying they are the best value tyre in NZ.

Tyre Shop Online is a small family business with a focus on providing a safe, secure and reliable way of buying tyres from the comfort of your own home.
The company was born out of our experience of trying to buy quality, affordable tyres for our own 4x4 vehicles and the bulk of our range is focused in this area, with a smaller range of car, truck and performance tyres.
The tyre brands that we sell have been carefully researched and selected as those that we believe to be of good quality as well as representing value for money to you, the consumer.
We do not offer any budget tyres for the simple reason that driving safety is very important to us and we believe that quality tyres are the best insurance you can buy.
