    "I normally do not leave bad reviews as I know the struggles of running your own small business, however this business does not care for people.

    I received a package to my work address which was ordered through wild poppies from someone who is stalking and harassing me. I called Wild Poppies to block any future deliveries addressed to me from wild poppies to my name and address and was treated with utter disrespect and unprofessional customer service. I have been told that they will not do this. Simply money hungry and unethical."

    "I ordered some flowers through the internet for my wife who was feeling a little down.

    Like many woman she has impeccable taste and is not easy to impress.

    Anyway I ordered these flowers and they were really quite incredible. Got me out of the dog box and that's worth a lot.

    Orederd at 9.50, they were delivered by 11.15

    So totally recommend these guys, I almost didn't buy these do to another bad rating I read here, but someone in the office said they were great so took the punt and glad I did"

    "My husband ordered a gift box and flower arrangement as a surprise for me. It spent more than 4 hours in a delivery vehicle on a really hot day. By the time it arrived the roses were looking tired and they the outer petals had burn marks on them. The gift box was in a carry bag with no ribbon or other attempt to make it look pretty - totally different from their photo I the site - and the gift didn't contain the single rose that was part of the package.

    I rang Wild Poppies and was told "the brown marks are due to pesticide used by the growers" (gee that may be true, but surely you'd remove them??). They offered to send me a 'small posy" of flowers the following Monday in lieu of the gift not being in a box with pretty ribbon, etc, plus to compensate for the missing rose. Then I checked their site and saw that the rose arrangement contained less roses than the photo on their site - and that it was $79 - which I thought was a staggering price for the heads of 7 tired roses in a block of oasis surrounded by cuttings of rosemary.

    The next morning I drove to Wild Poppies to show them the quality of what was sent and the only thing the florist could offer was "I only work Saturdays - but I can put a few more roses in it". I left it there and walked out nearly in tears because I felt my husband had been ripped off and they just didn't want to know about it or take any responsibility.

    On the Monday my husband sent them an email outlining all that had happened and asking what they were going to do about it - after all their website boasts about their "100% customer guarantee - just contact us if you have any problems". Wild Poppies response was a terse email that flowers had been sent to me already. Yes, the "small posy" - nowhere near the value of the $79 arrangement I'd taken back. So my husband tried again - he'd like a credit for the arrangement. By this stage he was really angry. At no time could anyone at Wild Poppies bring themselves to say "I'm sorry". Finally after sending another grumpy email he received an email from Wild Poppies to say his emails had been forwarded to the owner, Kerri. Yay we thought, now we might actually get a genuine apology.

    But alas no - just another email from Sally at Wild Poppies saying "We have high standards... we're satisfied with what we've done for you and we're sorry you're unhappy". Yes that's right - they were sorry we're unhappy - not sorry they didn't deliver a product that actually resembled the lovely photos on their website or that we'd had to go back and forth trying to get them to do something about it.

    The team at Wild Poppies sure could learn about the power of a sincere apology when they make a mistake.

    I would never ever recommend Wild Poppies! They are overpriced and the attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes made dealing with them a nightmare. Avoid Wild Poppies - there are heaps of other florists and gift suppliers out there who offer a much better service and product!!
