    "terrible job, firstly changed his time of arrival 3 times, turned up late afternoon which wasnt ideal because wanted to have most of the day to dry the carpets, now 3 days later, the carpets smell really bad. contacted another company who i now have to pay 300 to rectify with a redo and hire drying fans. they say he used wrong chemicals and too much water and should have recommended drying fans. he only charged 70 which should have been an indicator i suppose."

    "Hello All

    The last thing you should do is to call Joseph from Red Cap.

    I used Grabone voucher(some where around End of 2017), it took weeks to get a reply, finally got a reply and timing was arranged for weekend. As he didn't turn up, I made a call to Joseph. Excuse was, one cockroach got killed, so he can't come. We have to change for another week. Joseph arrived next week. The deal I bought was for 3-4 rooms, but he only did kitchen. What we noticed the solution he used was so dilute, that cockroaches enjoyed drinking. We trusted him to do all the rooms, but he did only Kitchen and gone.

    After three days, cockroaches came back, when contacted, he said, we have to do Second Treatment, and that will cost $40. After 3-4 weeks with repeated emails/phone calls/text, he finally came. Again after 3-5 days, the cockroaches were back.

    Send repeated emails/phone calls/text he totally disappeared. Although Joseph promised to come and fix the issue.

    Finally he came after Three months(24-03-2018) and asked for $70. I was about to pay straight away, but was warned by my family members, not to pay, wait for 5 days. And don't pay cash, pay by OnLine Banking.

    Now this Joseph started asking for money, I keep saying "You have to wait for 5 days, as on previous two occasions", the cockroaches were back in 5 days. I did mentioned about complaining.

    Avoid Red Cap, Terrible customer service, not to be trusted and never to be tried again.

    Keep Away from this Company and Joseph.

    "Extremely disappointed!! Joseph emailed me prior to doing the flea control, stating there is a 3 month guarantee for the service, (no mention customer pays for 2nd treatment). It's only been 4 weeks and fleas are still here and we've got no pets! I advised him about it today & he told me to pay an extra $40 for re spraying!! I mentioned the guarantee and he told me there is a policy that customer pays $40 for 2nd treatment and guarantee starts after that? I asked where can I view this policy on the website? He said no he'll email me. It's totally unacceptable as he refuses to show me a document policy! I was calm but firm however he raised his voice and then hung up on me. Gutted I wasted my money and time on such terrible service."

    "Agreed at $65 for a 2 bedroom standard carpet wash, asked and agreed both parties, he even sent a confirmation text stating the total amount to be $65 and would send the invoice soon, after a day, this guy changed his mind and claimed the total to be $69 and should plus 15% GST saying the original agreed value was cash only because he spent 2 hours on the job and it won't cover his labor, told him there are heaps of Grabone deals on $55 for 2 bedroom and IRD won't allow cash only jobs, he started speaking in Korean with an offensive voice and keep harassing us calling us traitor and non sense stuff, won't consider his service anymore and will stay away from his deals or offers."

    "This guys is a total scammer. I made a booking online, and after hearing nothing for 2 weeks I rang him - he apologised and made an appointment. He called at the appointment time and said he couldn't make it. We rescheduled and after getting my house ready for him a second time (no easy feat with 2 young boys) he never turned up. After calling him, he told me I had the wrong date - no chance!! I have asked for a refund - let's see how that goes. Terrible service!!!"

    "I wish I had seen the reviews prior to purchasing a grab one voucher. What a horrid man! Took forever to get hold of but did finally manage to confirm a booking and did show up. However after being shown which rooms to do, did completely the wrong ones and refused to rectify his mistake without additional payment. The room he missed was the one we really needed done, so ended up paying the additional fee for it. So very unhappy with the attitude and service, I would recommend everybody avoids these cowboys like the plague.

    The carpets are also saturated and I can't imagine they will be dry anytime soon!

    "Completely unreliable. Didnt show up for job and I spent a couple of hours getting ready and then putting things back. Their communication rude when I asked for refund. Altogether a frustrating experience and a huge waste of time and effort. "

    "Attempted to get our carpets cleaned through this company via GrabOne. Spent 2 months being told they would call me back the following day to book in the service but did not return a single phone call. Finally got a booking and they cancelled due to weather. The next booking they did not show up and i spent all day trying to contact them. They finally answered the phone late afternoon and said they would come around and clean our carpets at 5pm (when the kids are all home) instead of 10am like arranged a week earlier. Am still trying to get refund via GrabOne for this disgusting service. Worst company I have come across so far in NZ. Hope they are not trading in the near future, please be warned."

    "Terrible job. Our new lino had just been put down so asked for him not to step in kitchen but came in to find he had put dining chairs on lino (we had moved chairs onto table so he didnt even need to move anything) big dents in lino now. He sprayed so much water onto carpet that it took days to dry and some stains still there. He was so rough with his machine hoses so walls going up staircase are now scratched and walls had just been painted. To finish off the terrible job he put the handle of his machine through the bedroom wall and made a huge hole which he said "well what did you expect". Oh and then left with our house key which took him five days and numerous calls and texts to return. You get what you pay for, I got this through grabone...never again, pay more and get a decent job."

    "Made the mistake of buying a RedCap voucher from GrabOne before contacting the company. After I had paid for it I rang and emailed multiple times requesting a time for cleaning. They don\'t respond to emails or answer the phone, so eventually I booked another company and complained to GrabOne. On the morning I had asked for in my original email someone from RedCap called and said they\'d be over later that day. I told them not to bother but I wanted my money back - he said to email my details to him and I would get a refund. Did that, but again I heard nothing from them. In the end GrabOne sorted it out for me and gave me a full refund."

    "After them not contacting us after numerous messages we finally got them to redeem our grab one voucher.

    They arrived and charged us an extra $40 but wouldn\'t provide a receipt.

    After cleaning the carpets fairly poorly they told us it would only take 3 hours to dry. Well 6 hours later our carpets are soaking wet and starting to smell. It was a fine day so that is not the problem.

    We have had many carpets cleaned over the years and can honestly say the carpets were overly wet.

    Our tiled areas conecting to the carpet was overly wet and dangerous and they had very poor English.

    Appalling. Would never use them again.

    "I purchased a GRAB ONE coupon. Sent several online booking requests (no response) and called numerous times - Usually rang for a bit then disconnected. I did speak to a rep once and he said the scheduler would call me back in 10 min- HE DIDN\'T! I have been trying to contact them for 2 months. After reading other reviews, I have requested a refund from grab one. Very disgusted as I need my carpet cleaned."

    "Absolutely the worst service ever!! I brought a grab one voucher for the service.. I emailed, phoned and txt.. nothing! Complained to grabone and hello a txt to say my booking was for next thursday at 11:30.. I confirmed.. took time of work to meet him as well as txting again to check.. NOTHING!! Rang him as was given BS.. very disappointed!! Will not EVER reccomend Red Cap nor prob Grab One vouchers for that matter. "

    "i bought a pest control voucher from a daily deal site......first he cancelled the booking thrice saying he got issues with the site.......then after the deal site intervened he did pest control in my 1 bedroom apartment on 24th jan 2012......considering that i paid $75 (worth $285) on the deal site so these guys are bloody expensive and the job was done in 10 mins so the price is outrageous. then he mentioned a 6 months guarantee and said he will redo the job for free if the pests are back....no paperwork provided.

    then the pest were back after 1 month.......everytime i called him he said txt me your address and i will look into it........same excuse all the times that "he is driving".......i texted him in the 1st week of april several times and he never responded......finally got in touch with him on 2nd may and he said coz u bought the deal frm a deal site the guarantee is only for 3 months.....such a liar......i told him that i 1st contacted him in april which was within 3 months timeframe.....then this guy asked for more money and when i told him that he has already ripped me off once i wudnt pay him again he started yelling and abusing me in chinese and told me to go to disputes tribunal........such a shameless creep he is........i would rather pay someone else than wasting my money twice....THE JOB HE DID WAS ****TY, CANCELLED THRICE AND DIDNT TURN UP ON TIME, SUCH A LOSER
