"Anthony and Daniel have recently completed the last part of a complete house renovation which has spanned 7 years in stages. The BIG PLUS for me is PEACE OF MIND that the advice received is made with a genuine desire to do the best job and the workmanship is of a high standard.
I am totally at ease to have them in the house and also when I am away.
Redecorating and upgrading a house can be a huge upheaval while still living in it but A and D made it as comfortable for me to carry on pretty much as normal.
They also wear many hats so no one is needed for the variety of skills required and also have a pet electrician who works in with them. A secondary plus is they can sing in tune

"I was very fortunate to have had Anthony recommended by Placemakers for my new kitchen. Anthony took the trouble to suggest alternative options and price brackets. Me being short on visualisation he was extremely helpful and patient. As well as removing and disposing of the old kitchen he and his crew (Danial and Colin)were also able to do the gib stopping, wallpapering, painting, plumbing and extra building work. He also had a mate who was an electrician. It was a pleasure to have them in the house and to hear them singing while they worked. They all had an old fashioned trait of pride in their work."

"Ants & Sons did a great job on our renovations - we got him in initially to build a false wall for us in our garage, and after doing such a great job, we got him back to reconfigure our downstairs laundry into a more modern apartment style laundry and then take out our garage door and turn our internal garage into another room. I wish I had photos to put up here of what they did, as it's top notch. Really pleased with the level of finish and how easy they were to deal with. I left the dog home during the day and even he loved the builders!! The finish of the works is really good, he has a very good eye for detail and best of all, he is a problem solver, so if something on the build pops up that is outside of spec, he'll have a couple of good solutions or ideas on hand for you to consider. We've been really happy with the work done so far. Will definitely be using him again for further renovations on our house."

"We are really impressed with the work Ant and his team carried out at our home. They turned a dark, old separate bathroom & toilet into a modern, bright work of art. They also built the framing for a fitted wardrobe, painted, tiled and adjusted doors. Ant put a lot of thought into the job and came up with some great ideas on fittings and finishes. "So glad we found Tony and team through this website. They have transformed our house inside out; put in great ideas and quality workmanship for the kitchen, ensuite, landscape, etc. Appreciate they are so professional, yet personal and all the jobs, big or small are done with such high standards. Really appreciate that Tony is an all rounder (builder, concept man, practical yet creative, etc). "Ant and his boys are absolute gems. It would be fair to say we were nervous renovators having been burned in the past with cost blowouts and work that was not up to scratch (hence this bathroom needing to be made over). The job took a little longer than expected due to being done through the winter months and drying times taking a lot longer - but Ant took it all in his stride. When tricky areas needed discussing, he would make valuable suggestions, and even when I didn\'t quite agree with/like the sound of the suggestions, he was never fazed and re-thought things through for me. (This is not to say his suggestions were not good - they were amazing - I was just fussy!!!) I can\'t thank him enough for his patience in this regard. He is a perfectionist - when the lights on either side of the bathroom mirror had to be fitted after he had finished, when he popped back, he even noticed the mirror was not exactly centred between the lights and moved it ever so slightly. I cannot recommend Ant and his boys enough. They are thoroughly trustworthy and reliable. We will definitely use them again. Ant has given me back the confidence to continue with some more renovations when we can afford them. I absolutely love my fabulous new bathroom (I pinch myself everytime I walk in!!) Thank you so very much Ant."

"A building report picked up a couple of problems that needed repairs. We wanted a professional job done quickly so I contacted Anthony at Albion repairs. He was able to get to the house the next day and made an assessment of the problems. He also assured us that the problems were not a major issue. "This was a second job from Albion. The first was after another contractor had to be sent packing after messing up putting a simple gate in. Anthony and Darren took over, made extremely practical suggestions for changes and completed the job to perfection.

This second job was a driveway crossing to the road. Anthony was up front and said it wasn't their area of expertise and might be a bit more expensive. Based on the quality of workmanship from the fence we had no hesitation in accepting their quote.

Only they would know that driveways were not their area of expertise - we've had several comments already about how good the job was and even the building inspector was impressed!!"

I am person who likes to know what is going on and both would always fill me in. Every little detail was well thought and excuted with precison obtaining excellent workmanship. These guys set daily goals, and if it means working a little late, then so be it. Ants does his homework and finds the best pricing available out there making our choices easy. They are clean and tidy inside and out, leaving our house clean everyday, respecting our home, and also at the end of the day, making sure the work area was safe for our four children who's hole aim is to search and destroy. "Fantastic people. They are friendly and totally reliable. Considering we didn't know much about building, they were very helpful, explained stuff and gave us options if options were available.
