"Fantastic whole flat renovation done by the Alchemy team.On time and on budget with a few outliers expected when tearing down and old place.So great having all trades needed coordinated by Alchemy.All the tradies were high quality and no shortcuts taken.Specialists were called in as needed, thinking of the coving work.Material choices were also spot on,quality,stylish and decent pricing.Sound design choices made and great having the services of the designer, Lesley Bros, to add in the design touches that have made all the differences, such as the opening sizes.All the tradies were respectful and ran a tidy and safe worksite.No neighbour complaints!This is now the second time we have used the Alchemy team plus it has given us a great resource of tradies to use as required .Would not hesitate to recommend."

"Nick and the Alchemy were great.The job , a replacement bathroom and laundry for my Mum, was completed on time and in budget .The job did evolve and this was absorbed with no problem.All the team were professional and always turned up on time and Nick did a great job of keeping me posted.He also had great ideas and was able to source quality fittings and flooring, not easy at the moment .A pleasure to work with and appreciated the care and attention to detail by the whole team.Also the team kept the worksite clean and tidy and took care of the house.We were incredibly pleased that this got completed in three weeks before Christmas as we had thought Mum might have to wait till January.So thanks to the Akchemy team and will use again."

"I needed my bathroom renovation done at short notice after the tenants moved out earlier than expected. I called around quite a few companies and Nick was the one who told me he could deliver a new bathroom within the time available. I honestly didn't expect things to run so smoothly given the time constraints but Nick and his team delivered a fantastic bathroom on time and on budget. It really transformed the whole house as the old bathroom was well past it's used by date. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Alchemy again should the need arise. A+"

"I came across Alchemy bathrooms when I visited a friends recent renovation. She was thrilled with the results and service so I asked Nick for a quote for my bathroom.
He was quick to respond and provided me with some really good ideas, as well as offering an interior design service, which I accepted. Lesley (designer) came over and tweeked the design and after receiving the quote, the work was started on schedule 2 weeks later.
There were a few changes along the way, which were considered in the price but he was very transparent and once the job was completed there were no surprises.
Nick is incredibly honest and thorough. And nothing was a problem to him. He also gave good advice where I was less knowledgeable.
Though my bathroom is small I am so happy that it was completed by Alchemy. In fact he has also given me quotes for my other toilet and kitchen. Awesome work Alchemy !"

"Alchemy by name and nature. Magical nature of their work left me astounded.
mirrors set for 2 metre giants
leaking pipes -that weren't screwed in properly
shower doors that didn't open because the vanity unit was placed too close to the door
leaking showers from pipes that weren't properly installed, leaking showers because they felt it was not necessary to silicon the edges
fans located in shower at ear height with associated hole in the shower wall
did I mention the pipes that now sprung a leak again
only redeeming feature was that as each calamity was pointed out they did come and repair the problems.
Nick is a nice affable scotsman
project management was Ok though there were times no one came for days obviously doing other jobs. but miraculously still finished more or less on time.
very prompt with the billing, with followup phone calls a day later.
very tidy and cleaned up after themselves each day which was a bonus.
Scores really well with tidy and generally timely finish.
however you do wonder what drives their decision making as they install the different components on the bathrooms
Would I use them again? Im not sure. If I want some entertainment on dumb they would be ideal."

"Nick and his team at Alchemy did a great job doing up my bathroom and toilet. Their communication were very good, helpful and had no issues with their quality. They were reasonably priced and had no surprises with the final invoice. There were a couple of minor things which would've made the whole renovation even better, such as having a bit more time to chose the tiles.

But overall, I would recommend Alchemy and definitely consider using them again."

"We recently had our bathroom & WC updated, to give us a 2nd toilet in the bathroom, and a vanity in the (very small) WC. Nick visited and went over some ideas with us, and gave us a timeframe of 2 weeks, ensuring that we would have a toilet throughout the process - important with two primary age children.

Nick's team, led by Craig, were friendly, reliable and great company to have around. There were some minor challenges to overcome, mainly due to the small size of our rooms, and they actively involved us in the decision making all the way. The electrician and plumbers were again superb, and turned up when they said they would.
We are very happy with the end result, and the main bathroom was finished in just over a week. We would have had the whole job done in that timeframe, but the delay was due to a cabinet we wanted being on back-order - even then it was fitted & finished within the original 2 week timeframe.

I would heartily recommend Alchemy for your bathroom reno, and I would have no hesitation calling on them again in the future."

"We chose Alchemy based on the comments on 'No Cowboys' and it proved a sound decision.
Our job was to convert an unused bedroom into an ensuite. Nick recommended a architectural firm who turned our vision into plans and Nick and his team implemented it.
There were a number of issues that arose during the job but we were very pleased that Nick stepped up and sorted them without hesitation.
In retrospect the time frame quoted by Nick was somewhat optimistic but some of the delays were outside of his control. In any event we are well pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend Alchemy."

"Nick was friendly and quick to respond. The quote was fair and we undertook the work which was done we think to a high standard. However, Nick was less than informative when it came to council requirements. In hindsight we felt he wanted to rush this job through before Christmas. You would think Nick and the team should be COMPLETELY up to date and able to advice and communicate with customers on council requirements (especially for bathrooms) and guide people through this process if they are new to it. We are now having to go back and get a code of acceptance through the council which equals more outlay of money.

My advice is anyone looking to engage with Alchemy bathrooms is to do your prep with the council first."

"We have just had our ensuite completely rebuilt. This required moving a wall for more space, as well as remodelling all fixtures, tiling etc. Nick and the Alchemy team were superb. Whilst we had a design already, Nick’s expertise and experience meant that his advice on a few key areas, and suggestions for optimising the design, were extremely valuable.

We priced four providers, and Alchemy were competitive. Nick was clear about when they could complete the work, and his timelines were accurate. His team were very personable, prompt and careful on-site. Communication was always prompt, with Nick operating as the touchpoint and managing the project.

The transformation from before to after was stunning, and we could not be happier with the end result. Very highly recommend Nick and his team at Alchemy."
