"Highly recommended. Solid reliability and top workmanship from Khan & his team, and great communication throughout. We needed remedial work on a room in a 1930s house where nothing was square, amateurs had patched stuff, and the doors didn't fit. "Very happy with the work Khan did.
We have an old villa (1936) that had some rotting weather boards and a rotten window sill and sash that needed to be rebuilt.
The first builder that came said it couldn't be fixed and I should replace the whole window with a second hand one, which finding one the right size was not possible locally.
Anyway khaan came along with one of his workers and got it done in a day. Replaced the window sill and built a new sash, and replaced the rotten weather… boards.

Great communication and totally professional.

Would definitely recommend his work"

"Khan and his team were fantastic! We had a fairly major kitchen and living room renovation which got a little more major after we found some hidden rot and also discovered quite a few other things that needed fixing along the way. This was our first ever renovation so we didn't have any experience but Khan and his team were super helpful and communicated amazingly throughout. We had Shane & Iakovos on site for nearly 3 months over the course of the renovation and we really liked their work… ethic and friendly enthusiasm - the same for all the others we had on-site to finish things up in the last few weeks. We were still living in the house during the reno and both my wife and I felt that every single one of Khan's team was friendly, respectful, and professional throughout the whole thing. All told we did come in quite a bit over our original budget though not for any faults of the building team, there was a lot of stuff that needed fixing once we started taking off gib and got a proper look at things - we also added to the scope in a big way halfway through with adding a bunch of new windows to the plan. Even being over budget the end result is absolutely superb - very, very, high quality and super happy with everything."

"Khan and his team did a range of work from completely fitting out a kitchen, roof work, flooring including laying parquet floors all of which were high value and in the case of the parquet different skills. In addition to doing high quality work his rates were very reasonable and his billing transparent and detailed. He was always working within his quotes and kept us updated on progress. Based on the work he did for us I have no hesitation in recommending him. His team is pleasant to work… with and they enjoy their work which also speaks to the positive team culture they bring to their work."

"We had our kitchen replaced with a new one from Bunnings. We also had a collapsed stone wall replaced with a new retaining wall. Khan arranged all the other tradies required and his team did a really great quality job. The guys were polite, friendly, and always on time. They faced several issues with our old kitchen floor and walls not being straight and level and each time they just tackled the problem and solved it. For the kitchen, there is a lot of tight scheduling of the other tradies… - plumber, sparky, painter etc, and Khan did heaps of the hard work booking them in at the right times - they simply turned up when needed and got on with the work. He's running a great team and I would highly recommend Black Robin Builders."

"Big thanks to the guys who came in at very short notice to remove a wing wall and then organized regibbing. the wall removal happened quickly and efficiently within a couple of hours and the completed gibbing was beautiful. My kitchen diner is now a lovely, light bright and functional space and i will definitely o to them again "

"Black Robin Builders replaced rotting posts and braced our deck which was built on a slope, over 3 metres high at the bottom of the slope. Khan provided excellent advice on what was needed, and clear communication about time frames. His builders did a very professional job (in trying weather) and were very considerate of our needs. When the job cam in under the quoted amount Khan passed the savings on to us. Very impressive all round. I would highly recommend."

"Khan and his team went the extra mile when it was needed! The job they where hired for started straight forward: remove the kitchen and cut out a 2x2 metre particle board of the kitchen floor and box it in for Matai flooring. Should have been a max 1 day job. As often the case with renovations, we found an issue with some of the piles, that casued flexing of teh floor. Luckily we left 3 days in the schedule. Khan's team was flexible and the team placed a new bean and a few new piles under the… house and connected them properly. It was a terrible job to do in a very small crawl space. This took 2 extra days. The guys worked 10-11 hours per day to get it done in time. I'm very pleased with the result. Khan is an excellent communicator. He's got a great crew (Scully and Dan). They were polite, hard working, competent and diligent. I'm thinking about a covered porch next year and Black Robin will be my first call."

"Khan replaced our deck a couple of years ago and did an amazing job! Recently the frame of our front door split at the hinges. Khan was really responsive and able to send a couple of his guys to fix it. They did a really good job, working out how to fix the problem (100 year old soft wood) in the lest invasive and most cost effective way. Really appreciate their work. "
