"Mike turned up on time, was very personable and did a great job of installing a number of replacement exterior lights. He additionally sorted an intermittent power issue affecting our spa area and repaired a faulty interior light that had been an ongoing issue for us. The communication with Mike’s boss, Steve, was excellent throughout and the price was very reasonable. "Bridge Electrical did extensive work at our house pre painting. Replacement of all light switches and power points . Replacement of R080 lighting with LED throughout the house . Pendant lighting installation. In addition to doing a great job on the electrical work Steve provided excellent thoughtful advice to assist us in the selection of appropriate LED lighting and pendant lighting and we are really happy with outcome for both . "Steve has been our "go-to" for all electrical problems since we bought our home two years ago. He always replies promptly and shows up on time. He is friendly to everyone (even to our son chatting his ear off) and cleans up the work area. Most importantly, he always manages to solve the electrical problem regardless of how many trips to the supply store it takes. "Steve is a great electrician and I have used his company for a number of years now to slowly update the electrical fittings in my old house and most recently to wire up a spa pool. "I had a landscaping project on and needed some urgent electrical work done on a cable that the landscapers accidental cut. Steve changed his schedule to accommodate me and ensure that the project continued without delay. He also asked a number of key questions regarding security of supply to a heat pump, spa electrical point and tidied up a few issues from an older (70's) property to future proof us going forward. "Steve and his team did a major rewire during our renovation, and more recently came to connect up 3 new heat pumps. Steve's work is impeccable, very neat and always superbly cleaned up afterwards. "Steve was chosen by me through the recommendations on No More Cowboys, to complete replacement of drive a lights, and a couple of other minor issues. He came around to assess the job, performed some tests etc. and stayed in close contact through regular and timely emails, regarding the products, suitability and pricing. On the day of the job involving replacing 10 drive way in ground (concrete) lights, he worked diligently and efficiently with his apprentice and performed an excellent job, completing the service by being a “tidy Kiwi”. "I had Mark come and change electric sockets and light switches to a different position as we were installing a new kitchen at my son's house. Mark was quick with his quote, quick at doing the work and was quick to come and re-connect the oven and hob. He was tidy and cleaned up the house after finishing the work. He also communicated well and was very professional. I would recommend this electrician."

"Bridge Electrical has done a number of jobs for me over the years through my work. We have used a number of different electrical companies in the 16 years I have been with the company. Steve and his team are our favoured electrical contractor these days and they have been working with us for about 4 years or so.
So I decided to use him for my personal projects at home. He has done three jobs at home now. He has wired two sheds and also helped me with a sewage system installation.
These guys are versatile and can pretty much do anything electrical.
They have even wired two large RIB boats for us through work.
Bridge electrical are quick, contentious, and efficient. They are not greedy and don't gouge you on materials like many other electrical companies and there hourly rates are more than fair.
I don't call anyone else when it comes to electrical work. Give thee guys a crack you wont be disappointed."

"We have been working through a number of renovations in our house and have used Steve and his team for all the electrical that we have required, which has been a fair amount.

There is no other way to put it other than to say that Steve is great, he really is. He is absolutely the type of person you want working with you on a project.

We had the basic ideas of what we were looking for, he gave great advice about how best to achieve the outcomes. At all stages he lets you know exactly what is going on and how the work is progressing, and he will not compromise on ensuring that the work is completed to a fantastic standard.

It takes a lot to impress me but Steve blew me away with his professionalism, out of all the contractors that worked on my building site bridge electrical stood out the most. "I found out about Steve and bridge Electrical through some friends who had him do some work on their place, and they found his work to be top quality.

We were looking for some new lights to be put into our lounge / dining room / kitchen area as well as some external sensor lights. I gave Steve a ring, he came when he said he would, we did not know much about the actual products we needed so he took the time to understand what we wanted and gave us options and recommendations.

Steve sent us a quote the next day which outlined in detail everything that was involved and the pricing which was very reasonable and in line with what we were anticipating.

He carried out the job very efficiently without leaving any mess behind, took time to show us what he had done and how to use it, and the final invoice came in under the quote.

We are really happy with the work that was provided and have already had Steve quote on some more work that we need to have done."
