    "Butler and Hewitt were to install a stove I had purchased from Noel Leeming.
    They said they would be at my place some time between 10am and 12 on Friday. They took my number and said they would call before the service person turned up.
    I waited and waited and at 12.15 I had some urgent business to attend to before seeing clients later in the afternoon and I thought I'd be fine as they had not called and it was lunchtime. I came home to a message on the phone saying they had arrived whilst I was out in the morning. I phoned Butler and Hewitt and was told I would have to wait until next week. I pointed out that they had not turned up during the agreed window of time nor had they phoned.

    I complained and asked why they had not called. So nice lady sent the sales manager.

    I said I looked forward to seeing him and really meant it. I just wanted this stove up and running.

    Sales manager arrived and he was a bit weird. First off he tries to head upstairs. I pointed him in the direction of the kitchen downstairs. He starts opening the oven and grill of my old oven which was in place in the kitchen. I informed him it was on wheels and you just need to pull it out.

    I was wondering if he'd had a liquid lunch or what was going on because he was strange. He then starts pulling the back off my old stove. I asked what he was doing. He replied that he was installing my new stove. I said you are not taking the old stove so why are you messing with it. He responded he was going to take the old cord and plug and use it on the new one. I asked if that was safe and he replied that that was for him to worry about. I said hold on. I am the one who is going to be using the stove so really it was my worry.

    I asked if Noel Leeming were not being invoiced for the cord and plug and he flew into a rage and refused to install the stove. I then called him a naughty word

    My guess is that they were annoyed they were not getting my old stove so they would take the cord from it. Really poor service! With that guy as Service Manager no wonder!!!!
