    "Asked for a quote and they were a no-show. Got told "be there soon" when we followed up after 20 min late then, after following up 1hr later "who is this".

    Should have learned from the first time we used them: electrician left wires hanging from the ceiling. We believed him that a builder was required but the new electrician just said Callander was lazy!"

    "Rang them to book job. Contact was polite, efficient, clear explanation of charges and minimum callout fee, said they would be there 9am next morning. Arrived at 9am on the dot. Couldn\'t trigger fault as turned out to be intermittent, but pointed out likely cause, which has proven to be the case.

    Cost me $92 (1 hour min plus $20 vehicle charge). Happy to pay the callout fee. Will probably use them again if I have the need."

    "Callanders were sub-contracted by our building company. They made several major mistakes. Only one of them could be rectified and that was after my husband worked out how to do it and explained it to the electrician. The problems included:
    1. In one room 6 hanging lights were wired in and the plan specified flat reset lights.
    2. In the same room, the plan specified that the lights be operated by two different switches, each controlling 3 lights. However, we have one switch turning on all… 6 lights.

    3. Small holes were left in the ceiling where a light had been wrongly aligned.

    We remain dissatisfied with the final outcome, and would be happier if they would pay a portion of our power bill as long as we remain in this house.    "
