  "DO NOT USE/TRUST this man. He took my money and NEVER delivered for a fencing job. He is dishonest and a liar...he never communicated with me he always promised to come the next day..and never did!!....I have had to involve the Police to try and retrieve some of the funds (I gave him $500) to go get fencing material which he never came back with...3 weeks later...gave him $1K up front for which I got some sub standard flooring for a shed (had to re done by another builder) and some drainage… (which he never did himself..sub contractor...very good)
  
  I would NEVER recommend this man, he should NOT be in business. He has a history of this and it should be exposed...Thanks No Cowboys for allowing us to do this."

  "Dont i mean DONT use this guy.
  He owes me 13,000.00 for an unfinished job.
  What he did here was sub standard for a concrete contractor.
  There was no communication and he will not answer my calls."

  "dont use this guy. The top layer of concrete on the driveway had not cured properly.The imprinting in the concrete didnt match.The black oxide colouring not only coloured the concrete but also the house, took as weeks to remove. Then several months later the colouring with the concrete started to lift where cars had been parked. He didnt want to know and his comment was DONT PARK ON THE DRIVEWAY yeh right !!!!!! value of job $10,000. We left messages which didnt get returned DONT PAY ANY… MONEY UP FRONT. if you are still thinking of using this guy then good luck to you and hope your driveway still looks good in a few months."

  "The contract was for a broom finish driveway and a coloured concrete patio. The bulk of the money was required to be paid before the concrete was poured.
  What we got was a water-blasted driveway that left the surface as an exposed aggregate with sharp stones protruding, not able to be walked on without shoes, and dangerous for the kids to play on. The patio was never completed.
  Repeated calls to Concrete Works went unanswered, and messages left by us were not replied to.
  We took the matter… to the Disputes Tribunal, which ruled in our favour and directed Concrete Works Ltd to pay us $7100. This was not complied with, and the bailiff was told the company has no assets which could be seized to pay the amount.
  
  We finally engaged another contractor to do the patio at our cost, and will need to have the driveway ground down to make it safe for the kids.
  
  Recommendation: Stay well away!!"

  "I believe that Concreteworks basically do everything to the minimum specifications at best, to cut costs and maximise profit, e.g 80mm concrete thickness whereas everyone else specified 100mm, little or no mesh which wasn't placed correctly etc, etc.
  Quick to quote, slow to follow up once you've signed their contract.
  Take my advice and don't pay any money up front as it seems as though once they have the money they don't seem to care."

  "It was a plesant experience and was impressed from the start to end of the job. We were quoted on our job the very day that we phoned for a quote, a fully itemised quotation was received after Ross had fully measured the site and established a price. Ross thoroughly explained the work that was required as well as including all the relevant information on our quote. Concreteworks carried out the works to be done and I must say it was a beautiful job that we are very happy with. The was no… area of this business that I could fault most impressed and highly recommend."

  "The finish was poor. They used our fence to brush the extra concrete off their broom and when reproached about it said "where else did you expect us to clean it". They left concrete handmarks on the paintwork of our house, they did clean them off when we refused to finalise the bill until they cleaned the concrete off our fence and house. When dealing with the sales guy Craig regarding the bill i felt intimidated by him. He stood over me in quite a threatening manner."

  "Rubbish. Do not use his guy. He is a crook.Did half the job. Paid him $2,000 upfront before pouring of the concrete. He did not show, despite numerous assurances on the phone and by text.
  The delay caused considerable inconvenience to us and the neighbours. We hd to send him a lawyer's notice and get someone
  else to complete the job. It was total nightmare."
