"Nando was prompt to inspect what work was to be done and checking often on progress.
The work was to repair any defects before painting open plan lounge dining and kitchen. Also master bedroom walls and a few other small areas.
Stephen was the painter. I was extremely pleased with his work and was easy to communicate with.
He covered furniture etc well and where required put hooks back for me to hang pictures - also Venetian blinds and light fittings back up.
I would certainly give them more work when the need arises"

"We recently had the exterior of our 3 storey plaster house painted by Nando's team. I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the time Nando first visited us to do a quote he communicated well and was very knowledgable about painting plaster houses. His team did an exceptional job and Nando communicated via phone or text every couple of days to check on progress. Despite some bad weather they still managed to finish the job on time and also worked around the spouting contractors that were onsite. At the end of the job, Nando came and inspected the work and quickly arranged for the painters to come back to do a few touch ups that were required. I would have no hesitation in using Nando and his team again."

"I had a series of fiddly jobs to be completed which included new window sashes and surrounds; and painting over a timber ceiling. Nando was amazing at keeping in contact and organising start times around other contractors. When quoting both Nando and Stephen attended - which I liked. It meant I got to meet the person who would be doing the job - and understanding the approach and possible options. Stephen was punctual and tidy and consulted where necessary. Because of the nature of the job I opted to go on an hourly rate. Nando provided an estimate. The final figure was a lot less than the estimate. I would engage them again."

"The quality of the work was outstanding. The quote was middle of the road. Due to good weather Nando\'s team were able to start earlier than projected (yay) and I was amazed at the speed it was done. The back and the side wall had to be stripped completely and this was done well. There was a snafu with the paint colour - the paint supplier\'s fault, but was remedied asap. The work was well done, quick, not too invasive and the final product was exactly what I had pictured in my mind.

The biggest compliment I can give is that I have recommended D&R to the few of my fiends whose houses will need doing in the near future."

"We got Nando and his team to paint the outside of our 2-story house which was in poor condition. We had got a number of quotes with D&R Painting providing the best overall response and we liked Nando\'s positive can do attitude. "We had a team run by Terry paint our house. While the workmanship of the painting overall was fine, there were a number of issues which definitely need work. This included not locking up the house, not turning on the alarm and leaving windows open after they had gone home (house was vacant - in one instance they left the house keys in the door of the house), leaving paint scrapings in the gardens, tracking dirt through the house and not cleaning up afterwards, leaving an awful mess in the toilet (I had to wipe up after them a number of times....), cleaning paint brushes in the garden (and killing a couple of fish in the fishpond) etc...The paint job was fine but the care of our property was really disappointing. The paint team's organiser, Nando, was great and really helpful but the painting team was a real let down - not their work which was fine but the attitude that they really didn't care about our house. We negotiated a small discount for the aggravation but it doesn't take away the frustration of having to deal with these problems...."

"It has been a pleasure dealing with Nando through out the whole process. There was great communication right from the quoting stage through to job completion. We initially got a quote on a full internal and external repaint job. As it turned out this was a much larger job than our allocated budget and it was great being able to work with Nando to re-prioritise. In the end, we got Nando\'s team to repainted the ceilings (which included removal of the old style textures) and all the internal walls of our property. He was also patient and supportive as were selecting the paint colours. The team was prompt, fast, clean and tidy. The end result was a high quality finish which we are happy with. "Recently I had the interior of my 3 bed roomed house painted by D&R Painting Ltd. At the time there were three ladies living in the house (not an easy task for any painter) D&R had a friendly and professional in approach and informative about the work being conducted. The job was completed on time, work of a high quality finish, has defiantly added value to my house. Would highly recommend to other needing a high quality professional painter whom can be trusted!! The owner of the company obviously hand picks the tradesman most suited to your needs, and in our case we had Bradley Saunders who was just fabulous. Would most definitely use them again and can highly recommend this company for any paint job you might have."

"Nando answered my email query within two hours, turned up exactly on time to quote, wrote the (very reasonable) quote on the spot. By the next day the start date and time had been arranged. The day before the job was due to start Nando came around with the painter (Brad) to explain to Brad what was required. Brad turned up on time the next morning - and every morning for the two weeks of the job. Each morning he told me what he expected to achieve that day, and each evening he had done it. He was left in the house by himself every day, no worries there at all. Work quality was excellent. Nando turned up on the last day to double check for himself that all was as it should be. Can't recommend this team highly enough."

"Nando Giordani facilitated a full interior paintjob in my West Auckland rental property last month.I have been managing my rental properties for 20 years and Nando's standard of work is the best I have come across for painting.The men he engaged to carry out the work were hardworking,meticulous,reliable and tidy.The job was completed quickly,efficiently and to a high standard-Nando and his team were mindful of the disruption this can cause my tenants and minimised this.I have had several painting contractors work for me,over the years;it seems I won't need to look any furthur the next time I require one!"

"The job was to paint a 1980s lockwood house of aluminum using enamel undercoat on a coastal property.
These painters demonstrated excellant quality of work and care on a difficult surface and spent many hours on preparation. As i did not live there i was kept up to date with progress. The end product was great value for money,and i immediately received an offer to buy the house! it is not for sale. Thanks to Nando and his worker Benny."

"I was/am really impressed with the level of customer service provided by this company. Nando came to quote the job within hours of my request and was able to provide specific solutions for my repainting problems. The job started and finished on time. The painter did a fantastic job in protecting walls and floors and cleaning up at each end of day which included vacuming and sweeping floors. Nando rang the evening the job was completed to ensure it was to my satisfaction and requested a site visit to inspect the work for his own satisfaction. it is simply delightful to deal with a "trades person" who is attentive and delivers what is promised. Well done - would recommend to anyone without hesitation."
