"I initially thought they had done a good job until the next day when I saw it in the sunlight. I took it back to show them but the owner, Gavin became extremely aggressive. I don't recommend anyone use these guys. I feel totally ripped-off."

"Passed by their workshop last week and so decided to drive in and asked for a quote for repaint & panelbeating for my 2002 toyota corolla in order to pass WOF. Spoken to Gavin the owner and got a price for $1200 for the job and it was a total rip-off! Cost $400-500 more than two other panelbeating workshops in the same area!!! Also noticed that they aren't member of MTA or other auto repair associations, no hydraulic auto hoist and no baking room for spraying and baking too! Wonder how they've gotten the approval from Auckland City Council and their trade licence from???"

"I have had 3 jobs done by Daji in the last 3 years. An attempted break-in caused broken glass and crow-bar damage to our Toyota Corolla hatchback. The same car needed rust cut out of front doors for WOF standards. The Honda Accord had been hit front left on a round-about, causing damage to bonnet, side-panel, broken headlight and bumper. Insurance job. Negotiated with State to carry it out.
All three jobs were carried out with a friendly, helpful approach. Twice, the owner even went out of his way to support me in moving the car to & from my home to avoid finding babysitting for my young children. He followed through on all his promises regarding time needed to carry out the jobs & kept me informed of any changes. At times, there were opportunities for him to do extra work, but he respected my decision that this was not possible for me. To my eye, the jobs were all done with attention to detail and care of appearance. We are happy with the work and would recommend him to others.

"These guys fixed a small dent to my cars door panel which i thought was ok until i saw it in the sunlight. These guys have no idea about panelbeating. I have had other panelbeaters look at their repair and they cant believe it was done by a panelshop because its of such poor quality. I would take it back but i dont want to deal with them anymore. I regret going there

"My Nissan Sentra 1993 was involved with major rear end damage. State Insurance were considering writing the vehicle off which I didn\'t want. Mr Daji negotiated with State Insurance to repair the vehicle under contract. This was 5 years ago and repairs have been 100% satisfactory and I still have this car. I subsequently had other repairs done by Daji Panel Beaters and am still very impressed with the service and the workmanship. Highly recommended!"

"I was promised to have my car back on my return from holiday. it wasn\'t and took a further week. Upon collecting my vehicle I was very disappointed with the finish of the job. Chips of paint were not filled and were simply sprayed over the top on my spoiler. The bonnet, front bumper and guards looked like they had been unevenly sprayed. We took it back and the owner agreed to re-do the job. Upon collecting the second time we felt the car was even worse than the first time. Voicing our concern to the owner he agreed that again he would re-do the job. Collecting it on the third time we rung our insurance company as the car had terrible overspay, run marks, and uneven spraying lines. The insurance thankfully sorted it out with them as we were sick of dealing with them. 3 months later the car had to be stripped right back and re-sprayed by another panelbeating company. We went to pick it up from Daji and was told that we had to pay the excess before we could take the vehicle. What a joke!"

"Diabolical, unprofessional, ripoff artists, extremely poor workmanship - just some of the words that come to mind with the nightmare experience I had with this company and the owner himself. They totally botched what was a very simple job on my late wife\'s car TWICE - even though I allege that I fully explained the sensitivity of the situation to Gavin Daji when first bringing the car in, that once the repair was complete that the car was being given to my teenager daughter who had just lost her mum (my wife) - pretty obvious from the result of their extremely poor work they didn\'t give a hoot and just did a sneaky coverup job with the intention of ripping me off - disgusting conduct. From all of this, I then successfully won a disputes tribunal claim against the owner Gavin Daji, where I allege that his terrible conduct throughout both hearings could only be described as completely despicable with his denials and his desperate attempts to worm his way around the truth. This company is not aligned with the CRA (Collision Repair Association) or the MTA so if you use them and end up having trouble with them you\'re going to be in for a rough ride like I was, so do yourself a BIG favour and shop around for someone else - 10 mins away are Tony\'s Panelbeaters who fixed the hash job Daji did which I\'m very satisfied with, and they\'re everything Daji isnt. If there ever was a reason for there to be some form of industry standard created to weed out the bad eggs in the Panelbeating trade, look no further than Daji - DODGY Panelbeaters more like it."

"Having financially contributed to wof standard work. Am disgusted at the poor workmanship and response and overall dealings with the owner himself. Have learnt my lesson in dealing with panelbeaters that class themselves \"professional\" when in fact are opposite.
My experience. repair work to the main structure of a vehicle had in fact been a temporary repair job and inadequate. After having the vehicle viewed by other professional panelbeaters through to the ltvnz, they all agreed the workmanship that was paid for was of poor quality."

"First time using this tradesperson and will be the last. workmanship not up to standard set. eg tack welds without removing the corrosive area. ensure any dealings and agreements are clear and in writing. verbal is not sufficient dealing with this provider. Ensure you clearly understand and ask for parts being replaced etc.
asked 3 times to rectify issues and attitude and response was flippant. "
